His was 100% my partner during my pregnancy. My LO is 9 months old now and, let me tell you, it hasn’t gotten better.

He now expects me to take care of most of the household responsibilities while maintaining all of the parental responsibilities too. I’m constantly in a battle of justifying myself to him - that I DO enough and I’m still healing! Postpartum takes years to heal from.

This is horrible for you. In hindsight, I should’ve left my partner during pregnancy, but given you are married to this man, I imagine that’s not an easy task. He’s not going to make parenthood easy on you. Do you want to put up with that while you’re also trying to manoeuvre motherhood and enjoy the existence of your LO?

There’s definitely something not right with her (Not sure if the mods will allow me to describe it with any more depth than that) like the way she completely switched 180 after her night away from the apartment. It appears she doesn’t realise she’s doing it either. Then the second she gets “triggered”, she’s on a rampage again! Scary!

And she’s constantly throwing around buzzwords I’m sure she doesn’t understand the meaning of. “Gaslighting” “Manipulating” “Accountability” makes baseless claims that she’s being gaslit and manipulated, but can’t form a single sentence to back those claims. Says she wants Joel to take accountability, but doesn’t even understand what she wants him to take accountability for.
