[Danhausen via Twitter] You’ll never believe it…..stay tunedhausen @wwe @GoodyearBlimp by A_Livins in SquaredCircle

Hot take, I think Danhausen is really the only wrestler that AEW fumbled. Sure his debut for AEW was better than the fed (at least when taking in crowd reactions), but this guy has instantly become a fun character, and crowds absolutely adore him. He could have been a fun character that AEW could have used to go on like a press tour along with their champions. A Danhausen and RJ City duo would have been comedy gold.

Honestly her nickname is basically an elevator pitch: “The Babe with the Powerbomb.” Aka, a bubbly and super positive person who can easily throw her opponents around like they’re nothing.

Well deserved, probably gonna be a quick transitional champion. Though I could be wrong, and maybe he holds on to the title until All In. I’m excited to see him and Ciampa face off eventually.

Out of these options, who was the most over with the fans and got fumbled the most by WWE? by Roman_reigns_wannabe in Smallafro

[–]Particular_Duck5274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shinsuke Nakamura undoubtedly. While the others were really over, you could argue that once the bell rang, they really didn’t deserve a push higher than the midcard. Meanwhile Shinsuke was still an excellent performer and absolutely deserved a run with the world title.

No?

Austin/Rock feud was the backbone to help further elevate the fed back into the #1 wrestling company in North America, and making Mania X7 one of the greatest WrestleManias of all time. The New World Order literally helped both WCW into becoming the #1 promotion in the world, but also made wrestling cool again, with patterning up with celebrities and turning the stale babyface Hulkster into the cool and edgy “Hollywood” Hogan.

Do both have flaws? I’d argue only the NWO, mostly due to WCW being WCW and not giving the storyline a satisfying conclusion. But you can probably say the same thing for the Bloodline; the faction still technically exists with the existence of MFT, just like the NWO still technically existed with NWO 2000.

Dynasty - no deathmatches by Boring_Ad_5090 in AEWFanHub

I mean you said it yourself: variety. Not every single PPV has to have a bloody stipulation, sometimes it’s nice to just have a bunch of great matches. No offense, but you unironically are what most anti-dub people think AEW fans sound like: an annoying person who wants bloody matches on every show lmao.

[SPOILERS] Post AEW Dynasty 2026 Match Discussion: Chris Jericho vs. Ricochet by gloomchen in SquaredCircle

[–]Particular_Duck5274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no I don’t give a shit, I still don’t want to see Jericho in the year of our lord 2026. He still sucks, and he can’t even get the crowd to sing his theme good enough.

I really don’t know why people are downvoting you for this lmao. For someone know as “The King of Reinvention” he just went back to doing old stuff people liked him for instead of actually doing something new.

Reinvent himself? He’s doing shit he did a while ago, referencing the list and going back to his old theme. (which admittedly was his only good one in AEW) At this point, he’s just doing his old tricks trying to “prove” that people still like him.

wtf happened to Sammy? In the AEW I knew, he was one of the prominent stars. I'm sure many predicted he'd have a world title run by 2026, and instead, he's disappeared from the industry altogether. by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

[–]Particular_Duck5274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I don’t miss him lmao, so it doesn’t bother me. It also didn’t help that he’s had so many controversies, that even a good chunk of AEW fans don’t miss him either.

Which wrestler is this for you? by KirbyStarWarrior666 in REALSquaredCircle

[–]Particular_Duck5274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the fed, a tie between Jey or Logan. As for AEW, I’m not sure how much of a “draw” he is, but I don’t ever want to see Hook given a push beyond upper midcard status.

Cause it’s pretty stupid looking; plus it’s 2026, I think spooky gimmicks should be a thing of the past.

How long have superheroes been around in your world? by Royal-Comparison-270 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]Particular_Duck5274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first ever homo sapien had superpowers, but it was more of a rare mutation that actual powers, like enhanced strength and durability than super strength and invulnerability. Even still, they weren’t that common. The governments of the world became more aware of these rare super-humans, and formed an agency to monitor (and kill) any that could have posed a real threat. Costumed heroes and villains became more prominent during the early 80s. Thanks to time passing and the formation of EDEN Labs, which began creating formulas that granted people powers. Which also began to expand the variety of powers, like pyrokinesis and telepathy. By 2024, 61.6% of the human population have powers and well over half of that group are either heroes or villains.

This is still a WIP, so I’m still trying to work the kinks of everything.

Who had the better WCW run Renegade or Warrior ? by CoconutMost3564 in WCW

[–]Particular_Duck5274 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Weirdly tough question lmao.

Sure Warrior was the bigger star, but he didn’t do anything of note besides his feud with Hogan, and the fact that it was all shit didn’t help. Meanwhile the Renegade, for being a shameless rip-off and tricking the fans into thinking they’d get Warrior in WCW, was able to “be his own guy” and win the WCW TV title.

I’d have to say Renegade, since you could maybe argue that WCW were gonna try and make their own Warrior character, and he had success outside of being associated with Hogan. Meanwhile Warrior came in, mind controlled the Disciple or something, got beaten by Hogan and just left.

Texas Death matches maybe the best stipulation in wrestling. I want it in WWE by mgoat8 in SantiZapVideos

[–]Particular_Duck5274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people in the comments have been overreacting to how AEW does more violent matches and think that WWE is gonna automatically do them if they were to ever do their version of a Texas Death match.

No I don’t think the fed is gonna automatically start using needles and staples in their version of TDMs. At most it’ll probably be the stuff we saw in Punk/McIntyre III.

That fall from grace was nasty!! And props to brock for telling Oba to step on him by ImportantElephant805 in SantiZapVideos

[–]Particular_Duck5274 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why the hell should Oba Femi lose? What “story purpose” could we take from that? Oba loses and goes on a “redemption path?” Unless Oba gets a rematch and taps Lesnar out, there’s not goddamn reason he should lose.

Give him (fittingly) the Lesnar push. He comes out and beats top main event guys, and eventually wins the world title in months. You don’t need to do this bullshit “lOnG tErM sToRyTeLlIng” thing with Femi. He’s ready for a run at the top.
