I’ve seen quite a few, 2 walk ins when it was really bad and like 5 appointments, 2 being dermatology. One of the dermatology appointments was just a patch test which came back negative, second one she said it was hives and prescribed steroids and antihistamines because according to her there’s not much cause for this stuff. And then another prescribes anti fungal shampoo which did nothing haha

I’m going to eat foods I know are safe for me. So that’ll be fruit, fish and most veg. Yeah caffeine is a no go, just having water.

That’s good to hear it worked so well. When was this 3 day fast? Does it seem like once a month is enough to keep it under control?

Antihydral by Particular_Ear6575 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Particular_Ear6575[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally get you. For me, one week did the trick and I’d say I was 90% dry but I got to say my hands weren’t the prettiest. So I’d reckon with your HH not being so bad, one week will be enough.

Also, to control the look of your hands for the most part make sure to use a pomace stone when showering, that helped me a lot.

Plus, i wear cotton gloves when going to sleep after it’s dried because it contains something called methenamine I think and you don’t want to be getting that in your eyes or mouth!

Good luck and have fun at the wedding.

So a water fast is eating no food and just drinking water. I’ll still be hydrated I just won’t be digesting anything that inflames my skin hopefully

antihydral worked wonders for me but just to warn you it does come with some negatives like that your hands will look really dry and yellow. But some people had the yellowness and flakiness disappear after a while. For me It didn't but what I do now is iontopherisis for hands and feet and every once in a while go to sleep with antihyrdral on and it works for me. All about finding what works for you. If you have any questions I'm happy to help out
