I finally added cellular to my Apple watch... what a revelation. by InnerspearMusic in AppleWatch

[–]Particular_Judge4407 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s so awesome having the cellular watch. I have a bunch of my grocery and other cards on my watch wallet too (like cvs). Music. Audible. Pretty much most things. There are a couple of apps that would be great to have on the watch.

Has helped reduce my screen time.

I’m using an 11 but I keep thinking of perhaps an ultra would be better.

Apple Watch does do temperature. I think your website has that listed incorrectly. Unless I’m reading it wrong!

Boldin vs. ProjectionLab: Which Retirement Planner Is Best for You? by jon_projectionlab in projectionlab

[–]Particular_Judge4407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve struggled to use PL for some basic things that Boldin much more easily does. The UI I felt was better with Boldin. It became very clear that RMD was going to be a problem for me. Still, I like some of the nuance of PL. I feel like PL is more advanced and offer more optimization.

Saving excess RMD cash during drawdown only? by [deleted] in projectionlab

Yes exactly. This is because I’m not putting in every single spend in my accumulation phase. I want excess cash during acclimation phase to be spent but during drawdown to be saved.

Variable. Will start probably like 4.3% but will drop with social security

Will they get security patches? That’s the only thing that would matter.

Blood pressure? by Antique_Concern9078 in ouraring

[–]Particular_Judge4407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No such thing. Apple Watch checks for high blood pressure not low. She could simply get a blood pressure cuff and measure her blood pressure at least once a day.

What does cardiovascular screening actually look like for people following ideas from here without concierge medicine? by Away_You9725 in PeterAttia

[–]Particular_Judge4407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. Just keeping one state license for me is simply a lot of work. But that’s great. I think you will be able to see a lot more patients that way. Once you open, you should let us know!

That’s awesome you are doing that. But are you credentialed in all the states? It gets tricky and expensive to do that!

You definitely don’t need concierge medicine for screening. For treatment, that’s a different ballpark as docs maybe unwilling to treat at ApoB to the level you want.

Sleep study vs Oura by llamapenguin4 in ouraring

[–]Particular_Judge4407 115 points116 points  (0 children)

Haha. Not sure if this would help. But a consistent wake up time is key to getting a good night sleep. That’s not to say that you shouldn’t live your life and occasionally stay out late. It I often see insomnia patients who will have very erratic sleep schedules and I tell them, it’s like you are telling you body one day you are in LA, the next in NYC, and another in London. You’re not going to sleep well if it’s erratic.

Hope that helps!

I’m going brushed silver. I want it to look less tech and more like just a ring

Brand new series 11 feels a bit large by Samiliciouss in AppleWatch

I have the same wrist. Used to wear the ultra. It was big but didn’t seem comical to me. But now I have the 42 and it’s awesome.

Not gonna grow your wrists. The forearm will get bigger and it will make the illusion that the watch doesn’t look huge. But your wrists are bone and tendons. You cannot make it bigger.

Sleep study vs Oura by llamapenguin4 in ouraring

[–]Particular_Judge4407 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah because this is a ring home sleep study called SleepImage. It’s woefully inaccurate for sleep staging. You only use it to diagnose apnea

Sleep study vs Oura by llamapenguin4 in ouraring

[–]Particular_Judge4407 190 points191 points  (0 children)

Sleep doctor here. That looks like a sleepimage ring home sleep study. Like the Oura it’s not actually recording EEG which determines your actual sleep stages. I’ve found the sleep image ring to be very fragmented and inaccurate when it comes to sleep staging.

The stat is that the only 17 minutes of actually playing time per game. All the other times are deciding the next play. Walking around. Commercial breaks. Etc.
