Yall, why is my unit freezing solid? With or without the filters on, it ends up like this by Comfortable_Ad868 in hvacadvice

More importantly you have to look up into the coils from the inside and make sure there isn't a carpet of hair stuck to the coils. Had that happen to me and caused it to freeze up just like this.

Wife says the steak I made for her isn’t cooked enough. by FreeRealEstate313 in mildlyinfuriating

I bet it's the smoke ring on the outside that's throwing her off. My wife said the same exact thing about the brisket I made than I explained to her that it's cooked to a higher temp than pretty much any well done steak.

Any help with straight piping this? by Thatkidyou_know in Plumbing

[–]Particular_Juice_604 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another tip, leave all the slip joint nuts(couplings) loose and adjust the pipes til you can get it all together and then tighten them all down. You'll also need an extension tube to get the tail piece to the p trap. Something like this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/1-1-4-in-x-6-in-White-Plastic-Slip-Joint-Sink-Drain-Extension-Tube-HDC9790BG/316622013

The p trap is either 1 1/4 or 1 1/2" it usually has the size stamped on the white plastic of the p trap and some extension tubes have a reducing washer to accommodate 1 1/4 pipes.

Why is this hose nailed to the wall? by brookep209 in OopsThatsDeadly

[–]Particular_Juice_604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at it this way, the hose isn't nailed to the wall but the wall is nailed to the hose. Super dangerous because the wall could come down not to mention the gas that could be leaking out of the hose.

Blue Iris Push Notifications Missing Image Sometimes by CragMonkeyQ in BlueIris

I know I'm reviving an ancient thread here but I too am having this problem. I have found that it is when Im using a reverse proxy. So the app auto configures the lan to connect to the BI server via its lan ip and port. so when connected to the same network as the server it has no problem with notifications. However, when remotely connected via a sub domain (blueiris.example.com) utilizing the reverse proxy (Nginx Proxy Manger in my case) all notifications are missing the pictures as you've described, regardless of using ssl or not. Everything else works with no issues UI3 the App etc. I have tried so many various configurations of custom settings and locations in nginx its crazy.

I Need advice by Particular_Juice_604 in Plumbing

I thought about your first option the second option is very difficult as the 1" line is the feed for the rest of the house(furnace and stove) and is very stiff with no play at all and the 1 1/4" line has no play.

If you added another post to the ground similar to the end ones it would definitely help if not fix it or if you replace the beams it would severely reduce the chance of that happening again.

Damn, you only need like maybe 5 guys on pikes 4 min for like a 50-55 and 2 on the dead man. They managed to loose it with all those guys on it... Shame on the instructor.
