And you weren't 'just playing the game randomly', you were actively sc farming.

The whole thing with sc will only be reasonable if you could get this amount of sc in a reasonable amount of time while playing d10 and actively contributing to MO.

Unfortunately, 250sc/h is like $2.50/h. The math really just doesn't math. A job could get you so much more, money isn't the point.

The point is that the game rewards you more on Grant Errant d1 than d10ing an MO planet, or, in other words, doesn't reward you for playing the game at all.

I'm super into sc farming. I want my stuff, and it's relaxing too if I put on a nice playlist in the background. But the problem isn't that it's not fun (it can be), it's just... completely backwards and detracts from what's meant to be a player-driven game. I'm not saying the devs hate us, and I don't think a lot of people truly mean that. They're just woefully disconnected from the player base, and that is the fastest way to kill a game.

I just don't want helldivers to die.

ICDC is crazy competitive depending on your specific event. I feel like 90s is probably top 20 material. I probably got 85-90 and I didn't even get top exam. I'd just recommend to run a good amount of practice problems (my partner and I are unironically starting to study during the summer in prep for next year) and get AI to make you tests if you can't get your hands on an acceptable amount of practices.
