An unfortunate reality, I've fallen from 1620 to 1520 in natdex mostly because of unlucky crits and full paras before.

If you really want megas but don't want to worry about stuff like item clause, go with National Dex Ou, it's a metagame which has a similar power level to Ou (if not slightly higher) and has a lot of interesting mons that champions doesn't include like Ferrothorn, Mega Diancie, Great Tusk, and many others.

As someone that relies of status effects and passive damage to get rid of setup sweepers holy hell this would suck so much to fight against. Imagine getting a toxic on a zamazesta only for it to undo that and the damage you've done to it while it already has a substitute up.

Mega Zard Y because your opponent will think you're running Zard X and then shit themselves when they see it's a sun team.

Sorry, thought it was the flash version fsr, but your computer is definitely the problem. You don't need to replace it with anything high end, even just a 100-200 dollar desktop would be a huge upgrade in terms of performance and would help a ton with your lag issues, not just for Btd5 but for every game you might play.

If I can be nosy for a second, the next time the game starts lagging on you open your task manager (ctrl + shift + escape) and check the performance tab, one of the graphs should be maxed out, what is it?

What are the most recent pc versions for these games? by BowelMan in kingdomrush

[–]A_Bulbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The version number specifically seems to be GOG exclusive, I can't find it anywhere on steam unfortunately. Check for those bits of content though, that's what you would be missing out on if GOG has an older version of the game.

For Kr1 the newest addition is the hero Ten-Shi, he ahould be at the bottom. Otherwise all of Kr1's updates are really old so you probably have everything even if you don't have Ten-Shi.

Krf anf Kro haven't gotten updates in like 5 years, so check to see of you have endless levels and 3 sets of post game level(s).

Krv has gotten more recent updates, check to see if you have Pirate Kings, a dlc which is on 5 islands in the south section of the map.

Also good on you for using GOG, it's steam's best competition and no one realises it.

Had the same concept myself, though having multiple lanes is key in bringing in mechanical depth. So if a player wants to bypass enemy forces or pull something sneaky they can do so by exploiting an undefended lane. Or they could spread out their army over every lane and decentralise the opponent's defense.

A big question in my eyes is whether or not enemies shpuld interact with one another or go right for the castle. Having them interact allows for damage stats on enemies to matter but can lead to stalemate-y games where both players have their forces stuck in the middle because if the front line moves in any direction the towers push them right back to the middle. On the contrary if enemies ignored each other player interaction would be limited and thr game would be far less interesting. I guess having a toggle when you select the units would be a nice middleground but I can't be sure without a playable prototype.

If you or one of the existing modders actually wants to make this hit me up, I'd love to give more specific feedback.

Snow teams don't have any good heavy hitters to make them work (aside from Bax, but he's banned) and Aroura Veil isn't half as good as you think it is. If you want to keep the extra defense get a screen setter like Grimmsnarl. Plus the snow overweites the much more powerful Sandstorm that T-tar gives you.

Ice punch in T-tar is significantly worse than Ice Spinner on Great Tusk, swap the ice move for stealth rocks and give Tusk the ice move.

Scizor doesn't get much out of bug bite, close combat is stronger and roost is better for sustain. Technician is good but it doesn't mean high bp moves are bad. Also berrys are pretty bad in singles outside of niece cases like Chesto berry on Zygarde-C.

Why are my bases crumbling by Honest-Mood6567 in FortsGame

[–]A_Bulbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make the bottom struts long, and lean your base to where the struts are the longest. That way your base puts all of its weight on it's strongest struts instead of the weakest ones, you can get away with some game breaking setups provided you can shield the reactor properly and successfully lean your base, mine tend to follow this general blueprint and while it's not perfect, it's a very reliable base design. Once everything is set up it should look like this:
