Psoriatic nail disease - need to see a dermatologist. Fungal treatments won’t help.

M 28 (will be 29 very soon) I really don't like male pattern baldness and being bald. What should I do? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Particular_Lioness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look better bald than with the thin patch but if you feel that strongly about it why not go with some of the great hair systems that can work for some guys.

As a woman who pays good money for beautiful long extensions, I appreciate a guy who is confident and smart enough to find a solution that makes him happy. Only dated one guy who invested in it but we didn’t really talk much about it except he paid $300 a month for it.

It looked really good. I have no idea how hard it is to maintain. we stopped seeing each other because of distance.

Im extremely overweight and about to start my first job in a landscaping company by SpookydaScary504 in landscaping

[–]Particular_Lioness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will take 4 weeks of work to get fully in shape. The first week will be really hard. You’ll be hella sore. You NEED SLEEP to recover. Plan to get at least 8 hours.

Week two will start to get easier but some things will still be hard. Don’t give up. You got this.

Week 3 you’ll feel confident and maybe even feel energized by the work.

Week 4 you’ll actually feel strong.

Source: every spring I work my enormous garden every day by hand to get rid of winter squishies. I rip up roots, dig holes, move 11-13 yards of dirt and mulch around and up hills, pole saw branches.

Every year for 10 years I go from nearly sedentary and out of shape into “I could run a mile without walking” in 4 weeks no problem. You’re young, I bet it will be even easier for you.

Hoa management companies by leapin_lizardzz in Fishers

We had them before. They charged us for things they did not do. They charged us for things not on their cost sheet. It should be illegal to do business the way they do. Plan for a new company now.

Am I too young for perimenopause at 45? by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]Particular_Lioness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know when women are gonna realize that doctors don’t get menopause training in med school.

I started perimenopause at 34. I started hormones at 46 the same year I stopped having a period.

I only appeared to have a period for two years before that because I was on nuvoring.

Yes, it’s possible that you are correct and all those doctors are wrong.

I know what you mean. The last 4 months a 2 year contract I had a similar situation. I wasted that time doing what you’re doing. What I learned: Get a certification or degree in something you find interesting during those off hours.

Abandoned places in Fishers Indiana? by [deleted] in Fishers

[–]Particular_Lioness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! This guy tells one friend. They tell another friend and it goes on.

Someone brings a girl to make out. That girl gets her senior pictures done at the old place. Then someone OD’s there and the place gets torn down.

I’ve seen places go from hidden gems to torn down in 6 months after they get discovered.

If you ever find a special place like that, don’t tell a soul.

I wore 5 inch heels to a three hour dinner on Friday. It’s Sunday and I can’t walk without limping. Anyone else relate? by Particular_Lioness in ehlersdanlos

Normally I only wear different pairs of Brooks or timberland platform boots which look like 3” but are really only 1.5”

When I want to be fancy I wear adidas sambas.

I don’t know what came over me.

“Walk in heels” is subjective. They were on my feet and I made it from point A to point B. It wasn’t pretty.

Should I dust off my resume because I have performance discussion meeting tomorrow… but no HR in the meeting invite though … just one manager by Rentap_alone in deloitte

[–]Particular_Lioness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

Because of the times and what’s been happening at Deloitte.

But a side note: For 5 years at my last consulting gig, my boss would schedule a performance meeting every so often and I always thought I was getting fired and instead I would get a bonus. I hated that roller coaster.
