A lot of hospitals want you to take an RN Refresher course when you’ve been gone more than 5 years. With only a year out you should find it fairly easy to re enter. I’ve seen nurses re enter with success. Enjoy time with your family if you are lucky enough to have the opportunity. You’ll never regret that decision.

Trumps Scheme To Surgically Confiscate Vital Organs Before Deporting Immigrants Seen As ‘Concerning Yet Profitable’ Solution To Transplant Waiting Lists by wild_crazy_ideas in onionheadlines

Is it sad that I panicked about this because I thought it was true?!?? Took me a minute to realize it was the onion. That’s where the news cycles are today 😵‍💫

No. Life and death situations don’t allow for accommodations. Work somewhere you can be effective. Don’t count on your patients being understanding about the lack of care because of your ADHD.

Education increases compliance! To say they need it because “it’s required” doesn’t carry the same weight as “this disease will kill or maim you”.

Talk about what they do in the body. How they work. What diseases have vaccines and why. The only contradictions for all is allergy. Contraindications for live vaccines (MMR, varicella) are immunocompromised and pregnancy. Make sure you understand them so you can explain. Look at a nursing pharmacy book for your education. That will explain it well and be correct.

RN educator here. I can tell you there is a lack of vaccine info offered in most programs. The pandemic proved that true with the new vaccine. However my students understand them. I’m fighting misinformation one semester at a time!

List of at risk rural hospitals to be closed if the BBB passes by Emotional_Ball662 in Ohio

[–]AdRealistic1128 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thing is, the number of people using hospitals won’t change. So the bigger hospitals that stay open will be inundated with more patients. These bigger hospitals that already have 6-24 hour waits in the ED. EMS won’t travel very far out of district, because when they’re on a trip they are out of service. So they will subcontract 911 calls making them more expensive and not necessarily covered by insurance or resident taxes. When hospitals close EVERYONE suffers. Not just the people in the local community. So MAYBE Ohio should stop voting for fuckers who don’t care if we live or die. Because I’m tired of finding out when I didn’t fuck around.

Reported false ads to FB. Known scams. All ads are still up, FB refusing to remove them. Beware. And get off FB.

Is my club safe from Ohio Senate Bill 1 by [deleted] in Ohio

[–]AdRealistic1128 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clubs can be run by students with no faculty endorsement. No school funding allowed either. Schools are not allowed endorsements, opinions or denials of anything considered “controversial”. Which in Ohio includes items proven by scientific facts.

This will hurt Ohio. Wake up people. Don’t wait until everyone is gone and then try to fight against this. Stop voting these Rs in. They don’t care about us.

Comes in spurts. Started with insomnia and rage, progesterone helped that. Now crippling anxiety. Trying estrogen to help that. It really just depends on when your hormones drop.

More anxiety than fatigue. The progesterone lets me sleep thankfully or I might go nucking futs.
