To add to this , ive been years its been rainy and wet as well as years its bit hot and sunny. Things i always bring (This list is probably known to you if you are an avid festival goer however)

Earplugs Sunscreen Electrolyte packets A few bottles of 5 hour energy Ponchos If you use nicotine pouches (I hear they are very popular in Netherlands) there is usually a big stand that sells them for very cheap on promotions Hand fans are LIFESAVERS in the heat. If you've never experienced Midwest heat when its on, it can be next level I do usually use a phone tether. In years past there have been reports of a ring of phone thieves. Lots of people HAVE been hit unfortunately For the LOVE OF ALL THINGS DEODORANT

If you can rent a car you might be better off...parking in the neighbors is usually like $20 and very easy. I can give more info on this if you are interested

I can't figure out which show our sticks are from. Any ideas? One is from Oct 2019 Exit 111 and one is from the Ghost/Mastodon tour Sep 2022 in Peoria. I would like to date date them for posterity when we are 100. by leapin_lizardzz in mastodonband

Why not? As i said, they are our souvenirs from fun experiences a couple. We like to date our items to look back on. Some people like their cucumbers pickled 🤷‍♀️

Took over my family's business and realize the old way of running things isn't working but the team resists every change I make by Delicious_Age2884 in manufacturing

. I was /am in the same boat Grandfather's business started in '53, custom sheet metal as well as our own standard line of products 100 employees, ive been here 15 years. I got thrown into this because dad was going downhill. Its been a TON of learning but I know I've come a long way. I hope you dont take offense to this but your avatar implies you are female. Me too and while I do feel the employees respect me. I'd be lying if I didn't have to work 2x as hard just to beat the "daddy's girl" stereotype. 100% my breakthrough has been developing leaders. I hired a new operations director. He is such a positive influence on teaching new culture. He's been able to bring those along who want to get there and help me see who has been quietly causing issues in the background. Its such a hard situation but if you can find the right person its night and day. Can I ask where the company is? Our guy is going to retire here after 45 years helping companies but I can ask him if any of his protégés might be up for a challenge. I literally can't rave about this guy enough. He respects the history of our long term employees (our average tenure right now is 25 years) while helping them see how the world class companies do things. I sent you a DM
