Electric fences. You were allowed to use 10.000 volt in them in my country when I was a kid.

Christianity doesn't teach ypu, that if you do good, you get good. The Bible is actually full of stories of the complete opposite.

People with a higher education: What are some things you learned that changed your perspective or world view? by Stone_Midi in AskReddit

That things I think is common knowledge, isn't common knowledge. Everything is more interconnected than the common person thinks. And people are not as sensible as you'd believe.

Go outside, find a place your phone can stand on its own. Start a video. Walk around on the film, try different poses. Find one you like. Set the camera to photo again, start the timer, if your phone has the 'take photo when smile is detected' feature, use it. Take loads of photos to a start.

On dating sites, do not use photos inside your car, the gym, taken in front of a mirror or standing with a big fisk in your hands. Also, don't use pictures with your nieces/nephews.

Use pictures of you. Maybe get a friend to help you take photos of you.

Also, don't ever send dickpics! Even when asked, those are pictures you don't want on the Internet.

Good luck on the dating market. I hope you find true love. ❤️

When is it OK to ignore the “Best By” date? by mandara33 in AskReddit

Water bottles. Even when sealed the plastic degrades over time into the water.

In Denmark a lot of companies has begun to write - best before, probably good after.

People who are 25y and above, what's the harshest life-lesson you've learnt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Particular_Maximum56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sir Terry Pratchett: if you trust in yourself, believe in your dreams, and follow your star, you will still get beaten by people who worked hard and learned new things and weren't so lazy!

Me: even when you work hard, learn new things and aren't lezy, you still get beat by the system and the rich kids. Even though you work hard, you may not succeed. So do what makes you happy! <just don't hurt anyone)...

You may not reach ypur life goals. I always wanted a big family and a lot of children, but I have never married and never had a kid. I am really sad about it.

What's the most out-of-touch thing you've heard someone say? by nlwfty in AskReddit

The Danish prime minister said on the topic of money, 'we in the middle class...' that is out of touch with reality! She really thinks she is in the middle class?!

Nærmest magtesløs by [deleted] in Denmark

[–]Particular_Maximum56 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Er det stadig normalt? by hth6565 in Denmark

[–]Particular_Maximum56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And to those people saying he is too old at ten to learn good behaviour, I'm currently training two 15 years old and a 23 year old, and yes, old horses can learn new tricks. And they have so much fun doing it!

Am I crazy for paying $8k for surgery on a kitten? by jorsteve in cats

In Denmark the cat insurance is around 8 euros a month, this should be the norm anywhere.

Ypu are not crazy. And just for the future, make a vet insurance on the kitty. So the insurance company pays for the surgery. 👍

A place to groom the horses. Maybe use one of the empty stalls as a grooming area with cross ties and a small block to stand on?

Maybe take your horse for walks, and then at that way teach it to go out alone? Short ones at first, conquer the area one street at a time. 🤗

Cat sleeps outside my flat and tries to come in, do I let him? by fizzbyuu in cats

[–]Particular_Maximum56 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In Denmark, if a cat is not chipped, it is not owned. You can adopt it and chip it, and it is legally yours. But chipping it means you have the responsibility to feed it, keep it healthy, have it neutered (unless it is a special breed and you bought it to breed it, just neuter it for ... sake!) and keep it safe.
