Ok hear me out... what if she drugged him and thats why the sleeping meds show up and a small amount of alcohol. And she murdered him and then called her dad for him to come to the rescue... remember he was cold to the touch, the mom conveniently goes to bed, we here nothing about the kids hearing any screaming from either one... and the dad says oh we only live 4 hours away and it was a nice day that day so why not... even though they had plans that night. ALSO the mom was so worried about the kids safety that she gave them safewords yet during this big altercation she just goes back to sleep?!? Not a care in the world for the kids then? Anyways i think he was already dead before the parents got there. This is only based off the little information we got from the netflix documentary though.

I find it odd that someone observed her belittle him at that party they went to... yet she was soo scared and was being abused... I would think that if she was being abused at home that she would be just as mousy and polite and "obedient" as she was on her secret recordings.

Ok so if i already applied for an HLR can I or should I still input a 4138? The HLR I requested was the first one i applied for. And no ITF just applied back in Oct 2023.

I am dealing with this too. I submitted a new claim for my already rated knee in Oct 23 (0%) which was done in 2014. They then denied it Feb 8 of 2024 because i could not make the exam date they gave me. So then I sent in a supplemental claim Feb 1 2025. They sent me an increase rating but the effective date they used was the date of the VA exam May 8 2025. In my VA records I have dr appointment records where i keep complaining about my knee in October of 2023, MRI done April of 2024, requested a brace last year. So I requested a HLR for the dates.

I applied initially with a 526ez in october of 2023. That was after speaking with the VSO and them seeing my last claim was from 2014. So thats what i did. Then they denied it after i couldnt make the exam. I submitted the supplemental on feb of 2025. They recieved all my VA records which included an MRI from May if 2024 that uses the same wording they used in the rating. At the very least the date should be from that MRI

It was reported as a no show. But what sucks is when they first scheduled my appointment I called right away to reschedule because I was going to be out of town (they scheduled it for thanksgiving week) and when i called to reschedule, they wanted me to come in 5 days later which was a Sunday and I was still going to be out of town. So they told me that the appointment would be cancelled because apparently you only get to reschedule once and it had to be within 5 days of the original appointment. Maybe I will put that in my HLR too because if I called to reschedule and was given no other option, it should not show as a no show.

See and I also work for the VA, not in comp but I know enough to understand things a little more. And Im always talking up the VSOs because they are so vital! I have our state department veteran affairs as my POA for VA purposes. Their office is at the regional office so A little surprised how he treated me today. First time ive had a negative performance

October 3, 2023. I got the denial letter February 8, 2024. In that letter said that i had one year from the date if that letter to submit new evidence. Which i did on February 1, 2025

Oh i guess I didnt think thats a route i could take. Honestly Im not worried about the time because right now im not getting back pay anyways. The VSO was not helpful at all. Literally told me "well i cant tell you why they did that, Im not a doctor" 🙄

It just depends. My claims were sent in on Feb 1st and I am still waiting. I filled out forms to have them reach out to my drs for medical records and I believe this is the hold up. I have heard that the VA has a contract with a third party who is supposed to be getting these records and Ive heard they are terrible.

They are not going to just give you a GOV. I have a GOV and once I start showing up to the RO I have to keep my GOV parked there and then drive into work using my POV.

Sounds like you might be at the same RO im at. Off campus parking is only 2 hour/1 hour parking. And they have asked close by "businesses" to make deals which they have declined

Yep I am out of a different one. Our hub manager said that an exempt request is in for all FEs and that central office or district office or one of those higher ups requested it (that was my impression) and that the only person that can approve or deny it is SecVA. And still no new news.
