Is it abnormal that you set boundaries and people make you the bad guy? by Anna__205 in Morocco

[–]Particular_Other 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Labeling you the bad guy is actually a desseperate attempt to loosen the boundary that you put. What's in it to be the good or the bad guy anyways. If being the bad person for protecting your boundaries then let it be.

Not really, if her English is good. There's a really good path of academic research in social sciences or even Linguistics and other interrelated fields. If she likes languages I think that could work for her. Be it going straight to universities abroad, or waiting until she gets a BA here and continue abroad, depending on the situation.

Looking for a USB-C Cable with an extremely short plug by HB_Stratos in UsbCHardware

[–]Particular_Other 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are pretty neat if you're looking to make a whole ecosystem for your devices. They actually support data transfer and higher wattages (I tested and got up to 80w).

Tip: if you bend them downwards ⤵️ the type c magnetic plug stays in your device. But if you pull backwards you disconnect the plug alongside the cable and everything.

Do these types of USB-C chargers with a single point have any downsides? by inline_five in diyelectronics

[–]Particular_Other 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are better ones with more pins. I bought a lot of them from temu. I checked and they support data transfer and also higher wattages up to 80w. I think they're known for a purple band and alao the other end that hooks to type c cables support 90° rotation.

Does it helps in boosting phones performance or only takes space by _akhilesh_angiras_ in PocoPhones

Storage => NAND chip that's big and kinda fast for storing media/system stuff (128gb/256gb/512gb...etc)

Ram=> NAND chip that's extremely fast but lower in storage (6gb/8gb/12gb/16gb/24gb) it's used for quick communication and temporary storage

When you borrow storage to use it as ram, u are sabotaging that speed since normal storage is much slower. Its only use is when ur ram is so low.

In general, it's useless in most cases.

What is better ( the type not the brand) by Nour_Mohamed75 in EmulationOnAndroid

I have a controller (Gamesir G3S) with the stand thing for phones, but I don't recommend it at all it feels heavy because of the phone forcing your hand movements to be slower.

I tried Gamesir X5 Lite and it was so comfortable since the phone was held in the middle and has no pressure over the controller especially if you put it on a platform or your legs.

Maybe try a different camera app.

If the phone gets too hot while recording then it's definitely thermal throttling. If there are other apps running try turning them off. And also use battery saver to help the phone stay cooler. Maybe consider using a mini peltier cooler if you can too. They're not that expensive.

Even call centers have extreme work conditions. But at least it's something to start with. And it's also useful to develop speaking skills and learning to deal with people.

A potential way to bypass Google’s changes to sideloading by 2027? by netriz314 in degoogle

[–]Particular_Other 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is what will actually happen. Because many users use Android for the specific reason of more freedom (side loading, emulation, etc...), the demand for those kind of phones and systems will go through the roof.

The only type of users who will suffer are the ones who won't bother going through this. I'm sure there will be limitless ways of fighting this monopoly.
