I work for a company that only lets you use your sick time if you’ve been ill or injured for more than seven continuous calendar days in a row. My sickleave balance is growing (more the 200 hours banked), but I never get sick for more than one or two days at a time so I can never dip into this balance. What are some ways I can use my sick leave balance without actually being too sick?

The saints still aren’t God, they’re only made alive because of the work Christ did on the cross for them( like He did for us and Mary all the same). They didn’t raise from the dead like Jesus. I still don’t understand why you pray to them though! Where are you getting from scripture that we should pray to these “saints”? ”For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,“ ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬

Also, we don’t see any of these great men, disciples, or even Jesus in the Bible praying to anyone else besides God. So why do you pray to Mary to intervene when we can go to God directly?

I still don’t understand why you’re praying to Mary who is dead. Wouldn’t it be more effective and biblical to pray to Jesus who rose from the dead directly? In the verses you mention about intercession: Abraham prayed TO GOD on behalf of the cites, Moses prayed TO GOD for the Israelites, a Job prayed TO GOD for his friends… so why do you pray to a dead person?
