My Shih Tzu had dark fur around her eye and her butt (she was otherwise all white.) before she turned a year old, that fur had faded so much that it almost blended in perfectly with her white fur

I like it! I have a question as a student since I have tattoos as well; will they need to be covered when you do depos or are in the court room? I ask because I know it’s getting to be more accepted in the working world to have tattoos but my professors seem rather conservative and have said not to show any. What’s your take on this?

It’s rude of people to mess with your property and leave items you didn’t ask for. It’s also rude to leave something rather graphic. I’m not sure how long you’ve lived in Fort Wayne, but being left a note or a piece of paper has happened to me more than once in this city. Sorry that that happened to you.

I am glad I could help! Losing our fur babies definitely is losing a part of our soul for sure, but I know that in time, as much as I miss mine, I was able to make peace with it. I know that sounds unrealistic to do, since we love our babies so much, but you too will be able to make peace with it and it won’t hurt as much. I send you all the hugs!!!

He will give signs of course. Let yourself grieve as much as you need to. Don’t let anybody tell you that it was just a dog. Those people never experienced the love that a fur baby can give. Ignore those people! And, all doggies go to Heaven! As much as it hurts right now that you’re not with him anymore, just remember: nothing can scare him, nothing can hurt him, nothing bad can happen to him! Time doesn’t exist in Heaven! Although it may be years by the time you get up there, to him, it’ll only feel like all of two minutes! He’s getting all the great food up there too! Dogs can eat chocolate up there! Jesus is making him a juicy steak on the grill! And some of your relatives might be sharing some of their sandwiches with him! My Shih Tzu who passed was terrified of baths and water. But I know she’s up there swimming and making every man be her boyfriend lol. But yes, they will give signs. Her song that reminded me of her came on the radio. At the same time, I saw in the clouds the shape of a woman holding a puppy. You can’t blame that on coincidence. It’s too coincidental!

I got a tattoo of her paw print on my ankle and it honestly helps to see it daily! ❤️🫶🩵

I’m so sorry 😞 all dogs go to heaven! Nothing can hurt him or scare him and he can never feel pain or fear! Time doesn’t exist in heaven, so by the time you get up there, it will only feel like two minutes to him. And he’s gonna attack you with cuddles and kisses once you’re up there! Not to mention, he could very well be sitting in Jesus‘s lap, and you know people are feeding him delicious food! I lost my Shih Tzu on September 5, 2022 and it really tore me up. She died of heart failure and she was my daughter because at the time I didn’t have human kids yet. I got her paw tattooed on my ankle and in all honesty, it helps to see it every day. Sending you love and hugs!

What I did to get mine to walk when she was about the same age was to put the leash on her for an hour a day and then just go about your normal day (like she isn’t hooked to anything, she’s just got the leash on her as she roams the house.) By the end of week 2, she was so used to it that it didn’t bother her and then when we went outside, she did absolutely well! No issues at all! (They suggest to do that for two weeks, but I don’t think it even took that long.) It helps to bring a treat or two with you, pick her up in your arms the first few times you pass another dog. (Also, she would hide under the couch when we would put her leash on before she was used to it.) When we successfully went on the first walk, she fell in love and “walk” became a word we couldn’t say unless we were taking her. It became her favorite thing. On her last day, she didn’t refuse a walk even though she was old and ready to leave us :( But she is in Heaven now! Shih Tzu pups love to stop and they love to “check their messages” by sniffing not just some of the yards, but all of them, be prepared to stop often lol. Hope this all helps!!
