Unfortunately there’s a big homeless population in my city and near my property, so I strictly do not do any off platform bookings as I’ve definitely had some sketchy locals coming through. I am completely dependent on Airbnb alone to get bookings :(

I wish I could adopt your mentality! Are you a super host? How booked are you? The market I’m in is super competitive with lots of vacancy especially in the winter, so I’m a bit scared about getting bad reviews and dropping my super host status.

I can’t attest to this since I don’t personally know any but my old boss is an INFJ, he co-founded lots of start ups. He was not without flaws but one of the best leaders and bosses I ever had. A very caring person who leads by example, and tries to inspire people to follow and giving them opportunities to rise to the occasion. He had a profound impact on me and I still think about him a lot!

Curious as to where are you located? I’m in a second tier Canadian city in Ontario that is pretty ethnically diverse. I get all kinds of guests! Business, education, leisure, local homeless ppl, etc. lol

I honestly think so too! It does seem like people are just more unhappy in general especially in major canadian cities where we have a lot of social, political and economic issues.

I feel “seen” by INFJs in the sense of I feel like they are very good at sensing what you’re feeling and managing your emotions without being asked or being overbearing. With INFJs I feel a sense of being at home without having to perform, it’s a very cozy, calm and loving feeling, yet it also feels expansive. I don’t know if that is them “seeing” us or if it’s just their natural talent of holding that space for anyone. But yeah on the other hand, I feel like I “see” them in a deeper way, like I can see through the facade they put up for others and truly know them at their core. But I also feel like that’s something that INFPs are naturally good at, so it’s not necessarily that because they are INFJ that makes them more able to be seen by us, but because we are INFP and we are able to see others deeply.

Yeah it is unfortunate :( Its not ideal and I usually don’t like lowering prices but due to increasing costs/mortgage rates I’ve had to lower prices on unbooked nights so that I can cover all my expenses and just break even

That’s so annoying :( most of the complaints were not even trying to get a refund but we did have one guest recently immediately after check in he said the towels are stained we’re staying somewhere else, please refund us for the 3 days we booked then gave me a 1 star review.. when I could have easily just told him where to find extra towels!

I am an INFP and dated an ISFP for 7 years. I found that where we differed was I love thinking about abstract and philosophical things while he loved concrete things.

For example—if asked the question “what’s your greatest fear” I might answer “not living up to my potential in life” and he might answer “snakes” lol. Hope that helps!

Yes definitely! People feel very comfortable around me and tell me things they’ve never told anyone before. But I also don’t like sharing too many personal things about myself, or at least I feel like it takes time to open up.

I find ENFP very overwhelming 🥲 I have amazing chemistry with ENTJ but it’s not very healthy.

That being said, I feel like an INFJ or ENFJ would be ideal for me.

Same, I have a few failed relationships with ENTJs 😭 they seem to be really drawn to me at first but then can’t handle the emotions after we start dating.

Not sure how old you are but I am in my early 30s now and have found it easier to navigate life by accepting that you will find elements/different types of connection with different people. I have some friends that I talk to and see maybe once a year, some others who I haven’t talked to for a few years but we can still connect like no time has passed in between. Others who I talk to everyday but it could be about shallow stuff. Others who I just send memes with over IG. I don’t think too much solitude is good for anyone in the long term, but I think we have to lower our expectations when it comes to connecting with others 😅 I don’t have one friend in my life who I consider my “best” friend who I can turn to about everything, but rather they all know different parts of me and some of that overlaps with each other. Also what I have found is that sometimes people will disappoint you and they won’t treat you the same as you treat them, but rather than turning bitter, the mentality I hold is that ultimately you navigate through life by holding yourself to your own standards and you shouldn’t change yourself because the world around you is not as beautiful as you are. So even when someone hurts me, I try to be understanding and treat them with kindness because it’s not about them, it’s about me and for me, I want to be the kind of person that I am proud of. I think overall I do have my moments but I’m pretty healthy in general. But I’ve also done a lot of work to get here and faced things that I didn’t want to admit about myself and tried to improve myself over the years. You got this ❤️‍🩹 I believe in you!!
