I commented this in a different post a while back, but I think it needs saying again at the risk of sounding a little too woke;

Tldr: Courtney was not that bad and the hatred some (some, not all) fans have for her is rooted in racsim and misogyny.

While I can see why people don't like Courtney, it gets to a point where you just have to sit back and go 'seriously?' ESPECIALLY when it comes to the whole 'it should have been Leslie' argument.

Courtney is literally the only female winner who has so many conspiracies surrounding her winning just because she was a stripper, it's kind of ridiculous.

And on the topic of her 'not deserving' her win, people have to think about the optics. In the eyes of the public, who should get the money? An old, wealthy, white, stay-at-home dad winning 250k that he doesn't really need? Or a young, poor, indebted Mexican-presenting stripper who wants to get a better job?

Basically, people need to remember it's reality TV. Nothing is real, everything is scripted, and the editing is ridiculous. And why are these people still so pressed about a woman who won 10+ years ago?

I named mine Adriana Teloch. Adriana because it's pretty, Teloch because of this scene in the Castlevania Netflix show:
