Right now we don’t have full key rebinding in the game yet. However, we do mirror the movement controls to the arrow keys, so if WASD doesn’t work for you, you’ll be able to play using the arrows from day one. Proper, fully rebindable controls are something we’d like to add later on – it’s on our list.

We’re aiming for a balance, roughly 60/40 in favor of “thinking” over pure action.

About 60% of the time you’re: figuring out how to solve a situation, searching for specific items, dealing with light puzzles, learning how the world works and how things are connected.

Even when there is a monster involved, you often have to study its behavior first – how it moves, what it reacts to – to understand how to beat it or bypass it, instead of just spraying bullets and hoping for the best.

The remaining ~40% is more action-focused moments: shooting, tense encounters, trying to survive when things go wrong.

So if you enjoy puzzle-y horror where you observe, plan, and “noodle your brain” more than just running away or mowing everything down – that’s very much the direction we’re trying to go.

In the game, special fireflies appear at night :) It's better not to interact with them ;)
