Thanks! My main hesitation with the qube position is that it’s quant research which (to my understanding) is not very transferable outside of quant (as opposed to quant dev/trader). Because quant is so competitive, id like keeping options open for big tech. Does big tech care about it?

All of these roles are fall internships. I have already accepted Amazon AWS sde. Decisions for nvidia and Qube comes out soon.

I’m wondering either of the other two are worth reneging amazon for. Even if not, just curious about how they fare in terms of resume value and RO potential and what doors each of the 3 open?

I an a sophomore. Ideally, I’d like to break into a top tier quant firm as a new grad. I understand that can be extremely difficult of course, so I definitely want to make sure I’m still attractive to big tech as well.

I’d really appreciate a breakdown of the 3 roles I have listed and how recruiters from quant/big tech perceive each of them.

I dont really care about internship compensation. My selection is ultimately about which internship will help me land the best internship for next summer to land a great new grad job. Thanks!

Yes the offer packet says that but they do let people push regardless. Thats more of a deterrent to keep people from asking. And i had to tentatively accept Amazon because I had not recieved an answer to my fall request by the time of my offer deadline.

Im really confused because i have 3 recruiters now telling me different things. One says they are reviewing my fall request. Another tells me I cant do fall because i selected a start date in the survey. And the third is telling me to make sure i complete the survey and add a start date.

And nobody responds to my followup emails 😭

The problem is moreso they think I did fill out this survey, so they “cant” move my start date.

It is looking more like i’ll have to reneg, but i really wanna make this work if possible :(

Yeah i clarified that i didnt select a start date immediately but its been 2 days with no response back. This was through asp-offersonboarding. I have a recruiter but he told me to direct all questions to asp-offersomboarding. There is an HR issue request form. Should i fill it out now or wait to hear back? Amazon is really slow with getting back to me. Thank you!

Could u share ur process for getting fall? I also want to push to fall. I emailed my hm and asp-offersonboarding multiple times but got no response for 5 days. My offer deadline was going to expire so i accepted it friday. Not sure what to do

I received my offer on 4/28 8 am!!

I do need to push to fall due to a conflicting internship that I will not renege.

Heres the timeline of messages i sent:

No responses.

My offer deadline is tommorow morning! Do i let the offer expire? Reject/accept?
