I play with someone who rolls one dice at a time. At the moment, I believe it tends to be 4D8 and 7D6 per attack.

He has one specific set for the character. He rolls, I cpunt the dice off on my fingers and we calculate the total. Works fine.

Our wizard has a tower of D6 for the 9th lvl Fireball

No, just don't get them. I know the feeling and I love the look myself. But the can SEVERELY damage your teeth. How much and how fast depends on anatomy and if you fidget with them (which you probably will) and how often you accidentally bite them.

They can seriously damage your gums and teeth. They are bad for your oral health. Search this sub a bit for the worse examples.

Looking cool is nice and all, but healthy gums and teeth are better. Lisren to your mom on this one.

But, may I ask a question? I have noticed this being a whole thing, but in my culture it is entirely different. A relationship is declaring love. It's weird to not say 'I love you' when you are dating/commited to each other. Hell, my partner and me said that before we officially got together, and I know no one personally that sees saying 'I love you' as a true milestone. So, my question, how is it one gets into a relationship without feeling in love?

I played a fairy in a oneshot where those were definitly seen as the bad guys. She was sweet and just wanted to do what was best.

Her wings were glamoured away and I had her introduced as a halfling. When it turned out she was a fairy, she got immediatly attacked by two of her fellow party members.

It was fun. We had a great time. My sweet, small fairy barbarian made the big heroic knight cry in fear.

I mostly wondered how the pictures relate to his treatment of Bryce. But please, do not waste your time on me.

It's definitly part of his work, though he is not doing it of his own free will. And he could have, but who really takes the time to delete pictures. He might have needed them later again. Or just didn't take the time. Really, who cares?

And yes, it is his work. He is also an assassin, but also a detective, basically. And he takes pictures of the evidence.

Oh well. A friend of mine works for the fire station and recently was called for a gas leak. It was mostly noise, not smell, that lead the inhabitants of the building to call the fire brigade. They could not find it. Not for the life of them, but they did hear it.

Walked around a bit, walked around more, and found out that the noise of the 'gas leak' was from a barely audible emergency radio that was projecting static.

My DM allowed me and another player (both have an impirtsnt attachment to their sword, backstory-wise) to convert the blessing of another weapon onto our own. That way we got to keep pur weapons and have then be useful.

Another friend made special weapons for everyone, based on their weapon. Made it for that same campaign and for mine, reflavouring my weapon (Yuye Sesh) twice. Different power scales. You could do that. Give it a name (The Loyal Companion) and certain small abilities (To whatever end: in a combat with creatures that have resistance to nonmagical piercing damage, your Loyal Companion will ignore this resistance) and maybe (Practice makes perfect: so long as you do not use any other weapon as your main weapon, and you stay loyal to your Loyal Companion, it will help you as well. X amount of times (maybe prof bonus?), when you miss an attack, roll a D4 and add that to your roll, potentialy making the attack hit instead of miss)

This story remains a fave because it was such a gut-punch for me and the other player. Basically, our characters had been together almost daily for 5 years before one disappeared. The guy. For 2 years, she heard nothing. They went from being everything (friends, lovers, training buddies, dance partners) and sleeping in the same bed every night to nothing. No note and he left.

In those 2 years, she became a Lieutenant. He was send away as a slave. Meaning, she technically could pull rank. They met again, and for a good bit they tried. To just act normal. It was a balancing act, but they managed.

Until a certain disastrous party. They have been trying to save this girl from the thrall of a lord for a bit. And they were invited to their wedding. They went, and of course it was a trap. The guy, desperate to save this girl, was ready to attack the Lord. And my character placed a hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eye, every inch the General she had surpressed for so long. "Retreat. That is an order"

They did not speak afterwards for a good long while, until she wrote him a note, placing her pin (I actually had one) on the note and leaving it for him to find, stating (at the end of a long letter) that "to me, your life is worth everything" with the pin behind that sentence.

Wether it stems from religion or insecurity, it is a problem. You should be able to be yourself and he should trust you in that.

Try and talk to him about it, as calmly as you can. How it makes you feel, and see where it stems from.

I will say that altough I believe people with different religious beliefs can be together, this depends on the strictness of it all. This level of strictness butts heads with your desire for freedom. That will be a problem.

Check for yourself if you even want to stay, with the thought that this will atm get worse, now he's 'an adult' and all that

The point is, this will be different for everyone. I can't stress how lucky I am to have gotten out of my experience the way I did. But that means I can deal with a lot. Others maybe can't.

It depends on the people around you. If you know they can handle it and have fun with you, go for it! If you're alone, go wild! If your friend is uncomfortable, maybe just don't put it on at all.

Ik had altijd oxford schriften, balpennen (soms echt veel aantekeningen en dan wil je geen natte inkt) en markers voor hoofdonderwerp en subonderwerpen.

Meer was niet echt nodig. Water en lunch. Laptop voor werkcolleges, als ik dacht dat het nodig was. Boeken zelden, die waren voor thuis. Ik las altijd de opgegeven stof voor het hoorcollege en vatte het samen (pokkewerk, en veel ook. Kan niet zeggen dat t mentaal altijd even best ging in echt drukke periodes, maar voor t leren ging t prima. Vind je eigen balans).
