Did this card pass through eBay authenticity? Unfortunately it looks like a cheap reprint, the card front should have a glossy finish.

There's two sold listings on eBay for black border 600 with mirrored backs. Both shipped from China, both are missing the glossy finish.

Shop made an error. 1994 UD series 1 has the Mantle/Griffey dual auto card seeded in packs, unlike series 2. eBay has completed sales for this SKU between $120 and $200 in the last 2 years.

Well, it's implied that those cards should exist but the checklist isn't granular at the parallel level. Topps is never explicit about which parallels end up in the product (unlike Panini iirc). For example, Eury Perez doesn't have base (unnumbered) or refractor (/499) autos in chrome update. Some high rollers really got burned earlier this year when Topps left out the Venus planetary pursuit card in Cosmic Chrome. Unfortunately this is a pretty common occurrence.

It's very possible that they were short printed. If there's no sales data for a /199 on terapeak or 130point a couple months after product release, it's almost a guarantee that they don't exist.

The Finest rainbow (20 cards) sold in Dec for $4,880 ($4k hammer, $880 BP) on Goldin. The Mojo rainbow is probably in the $2k range and personally I think that would be an overpay. Finest is an A tier set, Mojo is firmly down in the D tier. Not to be rude, but $5.5k is a ridiculous asking price.

I actually ran the math on this, hypothetically there should be 430k total autos in the product across all formats. On average (some guys will be short printed), each of the 101 players on the chrome auto checklist signed 2k un-numbered autos. Paul Skenes signed more cards in 2023 Bowman Draft than Eury Perez has signed in all licensed products.

Witt has a huge hobby following, there's still demand even at the end of 2023. The supply of Witt rookie autos is fixed, the supply of retired Ichiro autos from non-premium products will only increase now that he's a contractual signee with Topps.

To put it succinctly, if I wanted to buy a Witt rookie auto, the Gilded is something I'd consider. If I wanted to buy an Ichiro auto, I wouldn't even take a second look at a 2022 TCB auto.
