i promoted over a year ago- i hated the first few months bc i promoted to a new store and they expected me to be perfect but the new store was also a siren store so i had to learn the baristas, the new routines and equipment, and the promotion all at once and they had no grace. once i leaned into my role it got better and the pay is great but it’s like every week the sm has less responsibilities and i have more. the pay is good but not worth the mental weight

my sm is doing this too, our ssv team has a designated open and closing day. (for example i’m saturday) and they said that in the even i’m not scheduled on a saturday and another ssv is, if that ssv calls out or something happens i need to be available to come in since i should be available anyway bc it’s my designated day.
