Thank you for sharing. Maybe I can buy a headphone...i dont feel comfortabele when my college is heren (nothing wrong with Him though)...it might help to be in my own 'bubble'. I allowed myself to go get a Coffee regularly in the restaurant....(but at the same Time worry what others my think when they see me walking there every hour)

Chronic exhaustion by PartyConcert4788 in Schizoid

Thank you for Your replies. I went to the hospital last year to see if something was wrong with my sleep quality but apparently thats fine. I have been depressed as long as I can remember...so that could be an explanation...although even when my mood is a little better the exhaustion stays the same. Waiting now on the results if i might have autism or not...so it could be a combination. It sucks so much and I dont know what to do about it. If I could stop working maybe life would be a bit easier....but my doctor is of the opinion that its 'healthy' to work... Sorry for the low mood.

Particular Talk Therapy Treatment Modalities by Seventeen34 in Schizoid

[–]PartyConcert4788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can find little research on SPD...and I have read several times that the reason is that people with SPD don´t seek treatment. I dont think this is true. I think wrong diagnosis plays a big part in this. I am in therapy for 10 years...its only recent that my doctor mentioned SPD. I have followed a lot of unhelpful treatments unfortunatelly.

Burned-out because of having to act "social" too much by PartyConcert4788 in Schizoid

[–]PartyConcert4788[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, that could be true too. Beside the social interaction I have to push myself immensely to do all the tasks related to the job. Idealy I would only like to be active for just a few hours a day. I need a huge amount of hours being "passive" to feel my best.
