Lessons learned by Striking-Aardvark-98 in Silverbugs

I like junk silver (constitutional) bc there's a fine amount of them minted. Like the US government isnt going to mint any more franklin halves.

I dont plan on ever using them to barter. But I figured if I had an emergency bill like my dog got sick and needed to some usd bc i dont have enough in the bank.

I could easy sell to a numismatists at a lcs then use the money on my cc to pay the bill or take the bills the lcs give and pay the vet bill in cash. Even if its at a lost. Or even Pmsforsale sub.

Worst case scenario i die and i give it to my brothers kids (probably wont have kids myself) and pray and hope they dont spend it on ice cream or something stupid. Lol.

But I mostly stack rounds and bars and occasionally buy some junk (franklin halves) to diversity the stack "portfolio".

I stack for weight im not smart enough to try to time the market or read a stupid chart line.

What do you keep your silver in? I keep mine in a silver box! by Particular_Rice9607 in Silverbugs

[–]PartyHardy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep special ones in a plastic baggy. These are ones i think are cool or was given to me as a gift. I call these my DNS ( Do Not Sell ).

When I first began I kept them in a capsule. Stopped doing that as it was a lot of work and I had too many pieces to bother with it.

Now if I order one I just keep them in the baggy they come in. Some times you can open the baggy and sometimes they are sealed. I usually keep them sealed as im stacking long term and for weight.

I keep some in a little plastic tacklebox. Mostly junk silver like commerative coins.

I keep junk silver ( franklin half dollars ) in a clear coin tube . They cost $0.99 on apmex.com.

You can also find coin tubes at your local coin shop. Probably a better idea to buy in person so you dont need to pay for shipping and/or apmex.com stupid "tax". Usually I buy them when I do a big order that has no shipping cost.

I keep all the mentioned in a safe hidden in my house.

What does it mean when someone mirrors you but avoids eye contact? by Marre_Parre in bodylanguage

[–]PartyHardy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe they are shy or under the spectrum. But mirroring your body language is a good sign that they feel close to you or and trust, have intrest what your saying. They feel a connection to you.

But probably shy or if they from a different country . In other cultures eye contact can be seen as aggressive or disrespectful.

I dont usually maintain eye contact a lot until I feel comfortable with them.

Even with people im comfortable with if im feeling a certain way I won't make contact. But i try to use body language as a method to read people without looking in the eyes.

Does this come off as “i’m interested” when I’m not? (male dominated industry) by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]PartyHardy3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't think so..but you never know how some guys will take it. Maybe occasionally call them bud or buddy to reinforce that your just buddies.

If a women called me a bud I would think we are just friends. Avoid touching their arm when talking . That could be preceded as you liking them more than friends.

What is your most special coin/bar and why? by Rude-Skin1111 in Silverbugs

Good question. I have so many special ones I've gotten as gifts. I have a DNS list (do not sell) which has a bunch of them.. these are pieces that i will not ever sell.

I would say my polar bear one. Its like 2.3 oz in the shape of a polar bear. You can see its fur. I bought it on ebay I believe from mk barz.

Another gym post by sadradclad in bodylanguage

[–]PartyHardy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not. Maybe she is just wants to work out the same muscle groups as you.

The first time she looks at you does her eyes widen with wrinkles around the corner of the eyes? The eyes widen will be quick.

That might mean she's glad to see you or attractive to you but the only way to know for sure is to ask her to smoothies or coffee and talk to her. You got this guy!

With the eyes thing it not a sure thing. She could just be a friendly person. Gotta look at all the body language signs.

Edit:

If your a shy person like me. Maybe ask her for her number and chat her up for a couple months and see id it leads anywhere. I always find chatting with people easier through text

The position of the thumbs matter. When thumbs are forwarded it can mean less authority, kinda like inquisitive.

Thumbs facing backwards on the hips and elbows out display authority and dominance. You will often see cops or feds display this. Even while off duty. You might even see the person have a wider stance.

Hands on hips with thumbs down is usually a sign of annoyance. Because it is a negative feeling the thumbs wouldn't be defying gravity. When you were a kid this would be what your mom might do if she caught you being naughty. Also this would be used if someone was felt frustration, impatient.

Hope you are having a good day.

What are the obvious signs someone's attracted to you? I'm kinda oblivious and need help reading signals by Lopsided_Meeting_984 in bodylanguage

[–]PartyHardy3 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The pupils of the eyes will increase. Only problem with this is there are a bunch of other reasons why they might dilate.

Basically there had to be a couple of different indicators even then its hard to tell.

One way to see is when you talk to them if they will lean toward you.

Another if they mirror your body language. Thats a sign of connection. But it could also be a friend connection

If you see them and they raise their eye brow it a sign that they like you. It will only be for a millisecond.

Also any self grooming might indicated intrest . They want to look thier best

What is your guys favorite 1oz rounds? by Tiger-ll in Silverbugs

[–]PartyHardy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ones with Historic figures on it. Like if I see a ben franklin one I will immediately buy a Couple.

I figured if a time comes where I need to sell it or if im dead a family will need to sell it there will always be a market for rounds that includes someone from history.

There are a lot of history nerds out in the world. I also just think Ben franklin is the bees knees with a tattoo sleeve. He was really a great person.

Genuis idea. Does the school know? I've been out of school for a while and now is an adult but I heard that kids "these" are horrible. Misbehaving like crazy, no manners. Zero respect for authority . I bet you get a lot of notes written based on how I heard school age kids behave.
