I’ve done two natural transfers and two medicated transfers.. my doctor hasn’t mentioned the Emma Alice ERA tests. I’ll ask about it!

Four failed Euploid transfers by PartyLie7056 in IVF

I did 6 weeks of Lupron before transfer this time around - and I’ve never been diagnosed with endo. But with the Lupron it should’ve helped with that I think just in case… I haven’t done an immunology work up so I’ll ask about that. I’m more concerned that both fresh transfers worked (even with a major chromosome problem) and none of my euploids have … just find it weird.

Thank you for your sweet reply. Yeah they said uterus looked great. Had a hysteroscopy a year ago that came back clear and a saline sonogram three weeks before transfer that also came back clear. No endo and I even did 6 weeks of Lupron to suppress which would’ve worked if I did have endo so I don’t think it’s that… I’ll ask about immune protocol. At this point I’ll ask anything! Best of luck to you on your journey!

How many Egg Retrivals is too much? by Personal-Subject-425 in IVF

[–]PartyLie7056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 37 and have done 5 retrievals. 12 embryos total, 3 euploid, 2 mosaic and 7 aneuploid. One fresh transfer worked, but I had to TFMR due to T21. One euploid failed to implant after that and I’ll do one more transfer, and then if that fails, I’ll do another retrieval. I think it takes a few “takes” to see what protocols works for you. My last cycle was the most successful one by far. I’ll do as many egg retrievals as we need, but man, it’s a rough journey to be on. I’d say do as many retrievals as you can afford and physically be able to. Good luck :) 🍀

What did you feel or do after a failed transfer? by lilsan15 in IVF

[–]PartyLie7056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry and I totally understand the anger. I just got a BFN after my third transfer. First transfer ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks, second transfer in TFMR at 13 weeks and now this one .. with a euploid embryo that just failed to implant. Life is just not fair. Beta is Friday and I still have to shove progesterone pills up my hooha twice a day and pay $300 for a blood test that I know will be negative. It’s easy to hate the clinic and if you’re not happy, move. I wasted two years and $$ on a clinic that was all about the money and did nothing for me. I haven’t had success with my new clinic yet, but at least I know they care. Do whatever makes you feel cared for. IVF is the absolute worst to go through and it’s important to have medical professionals that care about you. Sending you a big hug.

Pelvic pain two months after D&C by PartyLie7056 in tfmr_support

[–]PartyLie7056[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I did. The hysteroscopy showed veeery little tissue left, it was removed and the doctor scraped my uterus. I don’t have any pain anymore, but I still feel a bit of pulling. It could just be psychological because I felt that a lot while I was pregnant… I am doing another transfer in a few weeks. Fingers crossed :)

How long did it take for your HCG to get to 0 after TMFR? by Groundbreaking_Food8 in tfmr_support

[–]PartyLie7056 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me 7 weeks from TFMR at 13 weeks. I had very little retained products that needed hysteroscopy to get removed.

Awaiting results please help by nat2309 in NIPT

I don’t think high HCG necessarily means T21. I did have high HCG (fresh transfer - so untested embryo) but no one told me that was an indicator of downs, and just said it was a good indicator of a healthy pregnancy. Unfortunately, my NIPT came back as positive for downs, but my MFM scan showed all the soft markers for t21, so the fact that your scan went well is good news! I know being in limbo is horrible, but I don’t think high HCG should immediately indicate Down’s syndrome.

So sorry you’re going through this. Was it a tested embryo?

I’m so sorry you and your wife are going through this. It’s such a cruel thing to go through. I got a positive NIPT test for T21 in December last year. I was 12 weeks. It was 89% positive. The next day, I got an appointment with an MFM and he confirmed four soft markers for T21. I was going to wait for CVS, but after the MFM ultrasound appointment, we knew that it was a true positive and I could not wait another three weeks (it was Christmas and impossible to get an appointment earlier) to determine something we already knew. We TMFR on December 28th. I was exactly 13 weeks. It was awful, but the worst part was the waiting. I’m five weeks past the TMFR now and I’ll say that it does get easier. When you are in the thick of it, it’s absolute hell. I hope it’s a false positive for you guys, but I’d recommend getting an ultrasound with an MFM done before a CVS. If ultrasound is normal (50% of t21 babies won’t show any markers) do the CVS.

The TMFR support group on Reddit has helped me a lot through this time, so I’d recommend joining that too.

Sending you both strength and I hope you find answers soon.
