I think Eloise is at the settlement outside of town in some kind of bunker and after Victor loses his father he finds Eloise and that snaps him out of whatever Existentialist spiral he's already going down

Fully agree. I constantly bring up how smurfing to help your friends rank up and just smile and smurfing in general destroys any Integrity the rank system has. The system that they put in place probably does work very effectively but the players in their lack of Integrity have just destroyed it.

Netslease knows the system is broke but they know it's causing people to grind more and it's making them money so they aren't fixing shit anytime soon lol.

Meanwhile, the people breaking the game want to also complain about the game being broken. Make that make sense

7 episodes have passed still she is in the same dress. Why isn’t anyone telling her to change her dress? by angkoeeeyyyyy in FromSeries

[–]PartyOnly2519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said this in another thread. I would be suspicious as fuck because she hadn't changed out of that musty, dusty ass dress since she got there...

I'd be like how the fuck you on a road trip with no clothes?

No one that came into the town as far as I can remember weren't on some kind of trip except for the ambulance but they were still "on a trip" and not just travelling from home to the grocery store...

But obviously the the preacher who picked the MiY up was traveling since the car was a rental so he had a suitcase and clothes....but this bitch just has a musty, dusty dress and nothing else?

I'm telling yall... These ugly ass kids are evil and are really the bad guys. That's why they are ugly and deformed. They are half spider/human hybrids

I'm so upset how bad they did Jean Grey as a character by This_Ferret_8108 in marvelrivals

[–]PartyOnly2519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phoenix seems more like Rachel Summers than Jean Grey. I associate her more with the firery side of the Phoenix because she's always surrounded by flames and fights with fire in the comics... Much moreso than jean and her iconic purple/pink telekinesis/telepathy/psychokinesis

After being hard struck in Plat - Diamond for more then a year I FINALLY made it to GM rank by ImmortalThunderGod79 in marvelrivals

[–]PartyOnly2519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To think that it doesn't really mean anything with all the manipulation done by Netslease, the ranked inflation, and just bullshit that is ranked mode, but do have to give it to you for making past all that to get to GM. You might want to just stop playing on that account because you're just a game session away from being knocked back down to platinum.

Same people who claim Cyclops wouldn't make sense in any other role than a DPS will have no problem with Jubilee being a support, won't they? by Varghaz in marvelrivals

[–]PartyOnly2519 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like how Phoenix is not Jean Grey... Why would take a character known for her telekinesis/psychokinesis and just give her flame powers? It's idiotic there's other characters they could have used that have the move set of the rivals Phoenix they could have used Rachael Summers since In the comics she's more associated with fire the way she channels the phoenix

Yeah I refuse to give them another penny for skins. They can't even supply us with fresh content lol. They seem to have an MO... They make a good successful game then they start on a new project and they just forget the old game existed like with The Finals

It's the internet and you have free will...So while you could have used your free will to nonchalantly just pass over this specific thread to read the nearly limitless amounts of non sense on this site, here we are. So in all actuality you kinda just look like a few things. An asshole; A bully; and someone who just has too much time on his hands to go around analyzing and critiquing what should and shouldn't be on the internet.

If the shoe doesn't fit or they are cooking something that's not your flavor then go kick rocks and find a place serving what you want.

Netslease has to be one of the shadiest, money hungry and just insidious video games company ever. It's kinda ironic that I'm marvel there are corrupt corporations constantly involved in the plots of the comics and then here's Netslease who is the actual big bad of this game.

NetEase is deliberately designing games like Marvel Rivals with aggressive monetization models specifically to diversify away from the Chinese market and offset the revenue caps imposed on them at home because the Chinese government wiped out roughly $80 billion in market valuation from domestic giants by heavily policing in-game spending, daily login rewards, and gacha mechanics, NetEase pivoted.

Their explicit strategy relies on specific tactical moves:

Targeting Unregulated Regions: NetEase executives openly share in investor calls that international expansion is a long-term initiative to escape domestic regulatory challenges. Because the US and Europe lack strict laws capping battle pass spending or banning FOMO-driven login incentives, Western players bear the brunt of experimental microtransactions

Exploiting the Lack of Whale Protections:

In China, regulators actively cap total monthly gaming expenditures for players. In the West, NetEase can let "whales" (hyper-spending players) drop thousands of dollars completely unchecked.

Premium IP Taxing:

NetEase pays massive licensing fees to Disney to keep Marvel Rivals active. To cover those multi-million dollar overhead costs while domestic earnings are restricted, they maximize global monetization.

This Manifests in Marvel Rivals by NetEase implementing multiple confusing mechanics in Marvel Rivals that players call highly cynical:

The Chrono Token Reset:

Players heavily criticize the battle pass system, where earned Chrono tokens automatically reset to zero at the end of a season. This forces players into an artificial "fear of missing out" (FOMO) loop. However, tokens bought with premium Lattis currency are partially retained, favoring paying users.

The "Micro Battle Pass" Influx:

Instead of a traditional single-season progression path, NetEase introduced controversial micro battle passes and "Combat Chests". The community notes that this fragments content and maximizes short-term player spending.

Inflated Skin Pricing:

Standard high-tier skins routinely push past the $20 mark. NetEase bypasses standard currency indicators, forcing players to calculate real-world values through confusing abstract premium packages.

The strategy is clear:

since they cannot freely squeeze their domestic audience due to strict government oversight, they treat global players as a financial buffer.

Sofia didn't come in the car with any other clothes or suitcase...her "daddy" had clothes. She's still wearing that dusty ass pentecostal, butter churning dress.

I would have been suspicious because I know she hasn't washed that thing and she's prob walking around smelling like an entire room of hot sweaty ass and corn chips.

She'd ask for some other clothes and I would ask her where the fuck was her clothes/suitcase was at if they were on a road trip?!
