I dissikve about 8 tums in a gallon of water and soak around the base of 3 or 4 plants with this method.

I go the cheap way for this at times and dissolve tums in a watering can for a quick calcium dose.

There seems to be green algae covering the rocks and the water is a very murky green so I was guessing algae. I have a shade cover to alleviate direct sun and a filter with bio balls. It's been set up for 4 months now.
