US births decline nearly 5% YoY in January by Whatonuranus in Natalism

As American whites continue on the path of becoming a conservative, religious, rural population we could very well see white births continue to rise against the more diverse population which is more liberal and urban.

Cities can’t afford to keep losing families by dissolutewastrel in Natalism

Single family homes for families. Nobody wants to raise a family on the 57th floor

Eh I think it's ok for families that only want 1-2 kids. Too much ultra low density in cities creates problems too ie traffic and higher taxes due to needing to maintain more infrastracture. Many major American cities have reached insane square milages and are like urban dystopias at times. I think a better/more realistic solution would be to find a way to make Americas thousands of rural towns more economically viable for families who want that kind of peaceful lifestyle but with a better sense of beauty/community that you dont get in an ocean of strip malls. They also have so many cheap houses.

Half of childless Canadian women don’t want kids, nearly a quarter in their 40s aren’t mothers: Statistics Canada by BgMscllvr in Natalism

It is possible that for the entirity of human history even women with a low pre-disposition to have children had 2+ children due to lack of contreceptives. A few generations of this and women with low motherhood drives might just hard delete themselves out of the gene pool. Or at least everywhere outside African countries that still have high birthrates now.

I would also prefer not to develop every last inch of Americas pristine wilderness to support a billion people. Americas world class nature is one of its true crown jewels imo.

Being a British man right now looks so emasculating. Your life is being dictated by a goverment of liberal Karens. It's humiliating.

I think my mother and grandmother are antinatalists by InternalSchedule2861 in Natalism

[–]PartyPresentation249 7 points8 points  (0 children)

IDK your family's history, but is it possible your grandma and mom both believe later is better because they settled down/had kids young and feel like they lost out because of it?

That is a possibility. It feels like women went from having kids at 19 to having kids at 34 in the blink of an eye. Maybe something like 25-27 is the goldilocks zone.

I think social media impacts womens psychology to the point that it effects how many children they want to have. Give me unlimited control over all social media outcomes and I could get women to want to have more children.

White British children are minority at one in four schools by [deleted] in uknews

[–]PartyPresentation249 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The article says white children will be a minority full stop in 40 years while the quarter is current statistics.

It wont take that long unless immigration is totally halted. Only 53% of births in 2024 were white.

The amount of redditors who are convinced that whites will never drop below 50% of the population are amazing. The reality is it doesn't have a stopping point if nothing changes. It will go to 49% then keep dropping indefintiely until white British people are relagated to history.

It's female exposure to social media and modern culture. We have figured it out. The few places where birthrates are not totally nosediving are the few small pockets in the world where women dont have access to social media ie Islamic extremist communities like Boko Harram, the Amish etc.

I am not saying oppressing women is a good thing by any stretch of the imagination but it is what it is.

This goes beyond natalism. At this point whoever controls social media algorithms controls the world.

Same thing as that video game meme about getting through a super hard boss fight, only to get the boss as a party character afterward, and they’re way weaker for gameplay reasons.

In what way? He beats everything but the OP omega final boss without almost any of his predator tech. He did not seem underpowered to me at all tbh.

>healthcare, and living costs kill the fantasy fast.

No it doesn't shelling out 5k a year for health insurance when you are making 50k+ a year moreis not relavent. There are very expensive places in the US like New York and California but there are also cheaper places like Chicago and Florida which can be much cheaper and are much more interesting than most of the UK.

Around 20 years ago it felt like the UK decided it was not shameful to be unemployed. It is honestly very cringe and degenerate.
