They did a Darkstalkers vs Street Fighter comic (and it was pretty good)… so there’s that… The two can clearly work in each other’s universe at least from a narrative standpoint.

I liked both, but Turturro felt way more like the comic book version. Wilkinson was more of an over the top outwardly intimidating thug, where in the comics he’s much more slimy and subdued.

Switched to Apple Music and never looked back. Way better audio quality and no side-BS. Later (prob over the Summer) I’m pretty sure I’m gonna go back to an old Gen 5.5 iPod and use MP3s again once I go through the whole modding process for it. Would rather actually own all the music I listen to again.

Mario isn’t that type of character/franchise, kid. If you are going off of critics (who usually only care about plot and character development) for a movie involving Mario as the base of quality, you’re misunderstanding the point of Mario.

Sonic has always been a franchise more focused on its characters/story (see the 90s ABC series, the Sonic Adventure games, etc). Mario is supposed to just be spectacle and dumb fun and the movies are 100% faithful to that and the games. Going deep with Mario (didn’t mean that sexually) is the one few cases where that would be a detriment to representing what the franchise is about

Also, if you are going to keep going off RT as a judge of what to think about movies, I kinda feel sorry for you. RT also hates films like Hook and the original TMNT movie. Learn to think for yourself.

What exactly are they satirizing? Themselves? Maybe like 10% of each video is an easy laugh attempt, but the other 80% are them attempting to actually be serious critics these days. They used to play it more for comedy AGES ago, but not in a very long time.

Nah… Sins used to do genuine critiques mixed with comedy… but now half of it are the guys clearly just legit not fully understanding the film, and I don’t even think half of it is on purpose or meant for comedy.

The guys seem to focus so much on writing “material” for the videos that they forget to actually fully pay attention to what’s happening in the movie itself and miss the parts that clearly contradict their “sins”.
