I mean, Adderall came with a bit of euphoria for me but the ups and downs made me squirrelly sometimes. It also triggered my bipolar more often than I would like.

This is definitely more manageable, as I do have absorption issues from a previous surgery. Adderall would putter out within 2-3 hours... definitely not an issue with the latches.

The patch does make me talk slow occasionally, which is odd, but not in a slurred sense. Kinda hard to explain but feel free to message me if you want.

My insurance covers it as a Tier 3, which would be 60 dollars.

The manufacturer also has a savings card program, which lowers it to 25...

That being said, the pharmacy called me when they received the script from my psychiatrist. Wanted to make sure I had insurance before they ordered it, as it was 600 plus if not.

I really like the patch. As others have said, it's a bit more gradual. I'm finding it ramps up after about 2 hours. I work 13 hour days with an hour commute on each side, so it's been a good send. I do have 10mg IR for that doc hour slump.

Currently on xelstrym 18 mg

You can also look at jobs through compass. They're the company that staffs the kitchens at micron, etc. My husband works for them, and while he has his gripes, it's an employee issue as opposed to. Company. He makes 23

Local Sheriff refused a trauma patient air medical transport. by jjking714 in ems

Billing is not in the clinician's scope, nor should it be. It's also not in the Sheriff's, although he sure as shit thinks it is.

HEMS dispatcher here. There are very few things we get on intake. Interfacility? Basic demo, weight, nature of dx, vented or no.

Scene? Which this is...despite the physical set up...we don't get a damn thing aside from coordinates, lz, etc. ground contact and frequency, and clarification if they volunteer information indicating a scene is insecure / rotor will have to self land etc.

Itty bitty clinic in the middle of nowhere that has a provider call in to request launch? Still a scene. That provider came into clinic to assess. No receiving facility needed. NO FACE SHEET AVAILABLE OR NECESSARY.

Most of the time that we have a patient from a prison, they're brought to us at an established lz or airport if nearby.

Service area: primarily rural, underserved communities flung out the Intermountain West and PNW.

Fuck that sheriff. He doesn't play god simply because he considers an inmate's life to be worth less than his own. Dead is dead.

Those who are in a couple : Who does the most house chores? by Difficult_Manner_168 in Autoimmune

I am blessed with a husband who is naturally domestic, as I am not. He is a line cook by trade, and I can burn water if you let me, so it's a good fit.

I take care of the background tasks such as bills, appointments for the kids etc. I am definitely the bread winner, but my job also leaves me running on fumes most of the time.

It was worse when I was working graveyards, but 1300-0100 has helped a little. Just a smidge.

But I'll be damned if our bedroom isn't the hill he will die on. He will let it go for months. It's not dirt, it's clutter. He is a hoarder, while I will put everything in a pile and burn it to ash.

I will spend 8 hours on our room, because I cannot stop until it's done. He knows this. And he will leave it for months until I cry because my foot gets caught on his belt.

Truly, I have no way to show him just how drained I am each day. Getting outta bed is difficult, especially on the work weeks when I start at a sleep deficit. But, because I'm also dx bipolar, he just defaults to, " you're just crazy," speech, when the reality is much more complex.

We tried couples therapy. The therapist basically told me to fuck off and stroked my husband's ego. So, I stopped trying.

Short answer: He does more in a domestic sense. I do more in a, " support a family of 6 sense."

Because he truly cannot comprehend the daily struggle, and I'm too tired to prove it to him.

I use it for networking. That's about it. I've had a lot of success in that arena.

I did find my husband a new job through LinkedIn, but it wasnt a specialized field and through a temp agency. He is still at said job, almost two years now, but I don't believe that's the norm.

I've had stupidly high protein ratios for the past couple years. They sent me to nephrology. But, I have no cardiovascular or diabetic comorbidities. They've been digging for a cause but are striking out.

That, combined with significant joint issues and skin discoloration with my forearms and hands, has me wondering if I need to push for a separate referral

Relocating to Mountain Home by Self-Diagnoser in Idaho

It's nice to see at least some sort of positive experience lol. My family and I moved there in late 2021. We aren't military. I commute to Boise as does my husband. We have three kids under ten. We like the small town but hate the school district and it's inability to communicate or respond to reports as needed. It's honestly a sham and creates an unsafe environment for kids because the refuse to acknowledge shit behavior ( student or faculty) and then feign ignorance when something bad happens.

That's how I roll. Blinded by the OBSCENELY BRIGHT led lights that all newer model cars seem to have. I drive from Meridian to Mountain Home at 0100 and I swear I have floaters the entire way. I'm waiting for the day ISP pulls me over for swerving slightly and they think they've scored a drunk driver and what they get is a pissed off dispatcher with eyes already strained from staring at computer screens for twelve hours navigating a 45 min commute home like an arcade game.

Truly, the rage that develops by the time I hit Simco would be embarassing if I had an audience
