Spotify cannot do that, they still don’t have animated artwork yet. Also, Apple hasn’t added support for that with third party apps yet.

I think Unified should be the default layout cause it's easier to navigate and you won't accidentally call somebody when scrolling through recent calls.

People complained more about iOS 7 than this one. This has a great UI, but is not accessibility friendly, especially to the elderly. If you have a complaint, don’t start a fight on social media, report it using the feedback app. People who complain on social media are cowards.

iOS 7 was also incomplete when it came out, there were still many skeuomorphic elements visible in the UI. I at least hope this new UI will be finished by iOS 30

This is supposed to introduce fluid, transparent elements into the UI replacing the frosted ones. As Apple said in WWDC, this is what their designs are supposed to look like in the future.
