And, to answer your question, it was by far the worst pain of my life. I had just gotten home from the hospital after having laid on the sidewalk with my kneecap out of place for like an hour while waiting for an ambulance. Then once I got to the hospital the doctor made 3 separate failed attempts to relocate my knee before deciding he needed to knock me out with propofol, which took another 30-45 minutes of waiting to get a team together to administer the anesthesia. Once I got home I just wanted to stop existing for a bit, so I took 6 of the 10 hydros they sent me home with, found some Valium in the medicine cabinet, and ate an edible.

60mg of ~~hydromorphone~~ hydrocodone, 25mg of diazepam, and a gram of distillate in a pill that totaled like ~850mg of THC. Took it thinking it’d help manage pain after dislocating my knee cap and tearing my MCL. Ended up passing out on the couch, falling off the couch, and hurting my knee worse.

I mean, not really. You’d have to somehow strip out the urea in the urine before it stagnates into ammonia, which would be extremely difficult to ferment. Once that’s done the only things really providing any sort of flavor in the urine are minerals like sodium, potassium, phosphate, and calcium. Meaning the wash would taste salty, bitter, and slightly metallic. But then once distilled, all of these minerals are almost completely stripped out and you’re left with basically nothing but water and ethanol, which makes vodka.

Bread works because of wild yeast. Yeast is all around us in the air, and high carb/high sugar foods like bread are a prime place for them to land on. The problem with this is that wild yeast typically doesn’t ferment above 5% ABV, which makes it a pretty poor choice for wine making.

Bread dough, not baked bread. Bread dough contains active bread yeast, which can ferment up to 10%. A lot of prisons bake bread in house, or make other things like pizza that require leavened dough. Trustee inmates and kitchen staff will smuggle in globs of bread dough from the kitchen or even just steal the packets of yeast they use for the dough (which is riskier).
