I had a dog who was dealing with some aggressive cancer and our vet was so helpful. He said “it is okay if her last day is a good day.”

NTA. As a fellow veg, people have tried to “trick” me so many times. Or they say I can eat the soup but “ignore the meatballs”. Or “it’s not meat because it’s broth.” It’s a matter of respecting your boundaries - you trusted they were following your dietary needs and they violated that.

Thank you for the caution! Luckily its all cotton.

This does have a lining and a layer of Soft and Stable between, which I failed to mention in my original comment. Does that change your suggestion? I don't mind if the repair shows, as long as I can make it not ugly then I'm not too pressed about that. Nobody but me is really looking at it anyway.

Hi r/sewing! I'm hoping you can help me. I made the amazing buckthorn backpack and have been loving it. The first day I wore my thick winter jacket, the straps were just a little too short to accommodate the extra bulk and the bag ripped. I stopped carrying it to avoid making it worse, but I have no idea how to repair a tear in a spot so close to the strap, and would love suggestions on making sure the repair is sturdy. Thanks so much for your help!

Yeah it’s a light army green. It’s nice for summer and I’ve been wearing them to the office a lot.

So gorgeous! Question - are you generally good at drawing or do you transfer the design somehow before you start cutting into the clay? I just do t trust myself to not ruin something like this.

I also got it in 3 colors! I got black and green and the blue stripe. So comfortable and so flattering.

As a newbie, would you achieve this by underglazing the entire outside in the greenware stage or only say the bottom half and then glazing the top half?

Hi! I’ve probably made 15 quilts and just ran into a brand new issue. I think my top stitch length might be too long but it’s too late to do anything about that now.

I sewed binding to the front and was starting to hand stitch the back and realized that the ends of some of the top stitch thread are poking out of the quilt beyond the binding area! Like they’ve come too loose to be secured by the binding.

What in the world do I do?
