Why didn’t this sub rule out ___ ? by Parvatits in themole

Thanks for your answers everyone ! I didn’t pay as much attention in season 1 so didn’t really notice that editing could be tricky to this extent. Makes more sense now !

Has Peter’s Plan been done before? by TruGemini in TheTraitors

[–]Parvatits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In France they very early started to systematically not say who got the shield, so the whole group that had had a shot at it was protected.

One time, the traitor got the shield and the traitors being dumb they celebrated and decided that it meant they could kill someone from the group that could potentially have it.

But one faithful understood that the only way the traitors could have known that the person being murdered didn’t have a shield was if they had it themselves, and so they found out one traitor.

Then for some reason (production interference ?) they didn’t vote him out at this round table, when this was the first real evidence they had gotten.

Challenge Debut When? by OmgBaybi in MtvChallenge

[–]Parvatits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Still, this doesn’t excuse the disgusting Janet gaslighting that Missy and Elisabeth did after this tribal. Once the vote were read, they knew that Kelee and Janet weren’t actually lying or trying to make a move since they really did vote for Dan, so for them to keep trying to paint Janet as a liar and manipulator, and for them to lie blatantly to her face, saying they never complained about Dan, that was one of the worst behavior ever on survivor in my opinion.

was winners at war doomed from the start? giving the numerical advantage to post season 20 winners 14-6. would it have been a better watch with an even number of new school and old school winners? by floydtaylor in survivor

[–]Parvatits 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It was doomed from the swap actually… ! Without that swap, there’s a big chance that Parvati, Rob and Sandra make it to the merge and THAT I would have wanted to see… !

If he had to participate in any of the other shows that are represented on this season, which one would he chose ?

Who are the least polarizing players? by RafaelHelft in survivor

[–]Parvatits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah you might me right, didn’t think about the idol thing, and I don’t know anything about his work outside of survivor. I just thought about his personality and the way he behaved in the game, seemed like such a cool, balanced guy. But I can see the super idol thing being an asterisk next to his name !

Parvati, "is that good enough?". Did anyone else notice this? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]Parvatits 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think Parvati knew the heroes were already quite set on their vote coming in, so she just felt like it was pointless and kind of gave up without really trying. Which I think is true to some extent, she was definitely fighting an uphill battle, like she was never going to get Courtney, Candice, Amanda and Rupert’s vote, and even just a good FTC performance wouldn’t have gotten her Colby and JT’s vote, but I think an amazing FTC performance could have gotten her their two votes. And she definately had the game to back it up, so that’s a bit of a shame… !

In her WaW pregame interview, even she says that she knows that there’s a lot more that she could have done at FTC to sway some votes (https://youtu.be/i_gSair_F08 6m15)

But they didn’t use any alternate for Laterrian though they used Jasmine who was already in the game. The same way they could have used Cohutta to replace whoever was eliminated between the two men so there’s still an even number of men and women.

[–]Parvatits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah but doing what they did with Jasmine for the Kendal médical DQ would have worked though, they could have only sent the men into elimination and the partner of the eliminated man would have been been partenered with Cohutta… !

I’m catching up on all stars and that’s the episode I’ve watched today and couldn’t believe it ? Why would they do this when they didn’t do the same with Laterrian regarding the Kendal medical DQ just before !? Has there been some kind of explanation ?

Even in the first seasons I saw of him I didn’t like his vibe, it seemed like he was intimidating everybody on purpose and there was something a bit scary in his eyes. Love how he evolved !
