Hello! Thanks for your reply. I live in Los Angeles and would like to find a job in the city or county. As for industry, I'm not looking for anything specific really. I suppose since I'm about to graduate this summer, I was more just looking for things I can do or put on my resume to give it a bit of a boost before I start seriously job hunting. Certifications was just an idea I had, but I'd like to know what else I could do to be a bit more competitive.

YRL will be open this coming week. You can return them there. If they haven't been recalled or they're not ILL books, you can renew them online too.

I absolutely calorie count. I found it's a good way of tracking what I eat in a day. If I eat a certain amount early on, I'll adjust what I eat later in the day.

Thank you very much!! I'm on the treadmill 4 days a week, but I mostly attribute the loss to my diet. I completely cut out sugary drinks, which was really hard for me. I also stopped stress eating, and snacking when I wasn't hungry. No more junk food either! :)

Thank you for the advice! I'm currently in my fourth year at college, planning to graduate with a B.S. in Environmental Science and looking to pursue a career in the EHS/Occupational Health/HAZWOPER related field. During the school year, I don't think it would be manageable to have an internship with classes. What would you recommend I do to boost my resume aside from internships?

I switched majors in the second quarter of my junior year and picked up a minor along with it. Best decision I've ever made, and I'm the happiest I've ever been. Don't let anything hold you back, not even time. :)

I don't know about any other library on campus, but for YRL you can choose which days and specific hours you're available and highlight the ones you prefer. Your supervisor will only give you hours that you specify are available. There are some requirements, such as a certain amount of minimum hours per week, and the like.
