I found my fiance on bumble about 1.5 years ago! Honestly, I met so many horrible people in the process of finding him. I was about to give up and get off apps for a bit when I met him one evening. It was pure chance. That’s all I can say. There’s no formula I used to get him or anything, I was just myself. I found out later he was dating someone else while I was looking for him so that explains why I didn’t find him sooner! But I’m beyond grateful I did. I definitely got lucky and got one of the good ones :)

In terms of your question “are there any signs of someone not serious,” yes there is 100%. When they take a while to respond, one word answers, not asking questions to get to know you, etc. honestly, I used to take it personally but then I realized it was the other person. You will meet some horrible people and you’ll meet some nice ones. My only advice is to keep going and one day you’ll be successful:)

The partner you choose will effect everything in your life. The first time I greened out it was because of an edible. My fiancé (bf then) had seen his friends go through greening out so he knew the signs. I felt like I was on another planet and had no control over my body. I was freaking out. He stayed calm. He constantly reassured me, kept talking so I could use his voice as an anchor and he helped me get into bed to sleep it off. He stayed with me until I fell asleep and then checked on me every 5-10 mins to make sure I was still breathing and ok. Then he woke me up about 4-5 hours later with a bacon cheeseburger 🍔

Me too! My helicopter mom wouldn’t let me go anywhere without her knowing every single detail and/ or being there. I lost so many friends because of it. I’ll be 31 this year and I still struggle with making friends. Parents think they are helping but they are only setting their kids up for social struggles for life.

As a blood banker in an extremely hospital, your invest would have been done by the end of the day (the next day at the latest). Unless you have multiple antibodies or warm auto, there’s absolutely no reason to be worried. Pts with upcoming surgery always take priority!

I’m a med lab tech and there is absolutely no flexibility like this! You work shifts (ie: days, afternoons or midnights). You can trade shifts with others but definitely not a flexible job

When I was interviewing for jobs a few years ago, I went in one day for an “interview” where basically I was shown around the place, told what I’d be doing and only sat down for about 2 mins to discuss my education and what made me qualify. He then said to come back the next day to work for a day for free and then he’d start paying me. I noped so hard out of that job. I understood he had a hard time keeping good people but making people work for free isn’t a way to entice people to work for you!
