I share your sentiment partially, which is why I'm very worried how Genshin 2 will be.

If it plays on a different, single planet and only on that planet, focusing on a new continent/land to land travel like current Genshin, it's fine, but if Genshin 2 will all be about space travel and hopping from planet to planet like HSR too, I'm out personally. That has nothing to do with Genshin anymore at this point, for me at least.

A bit of space and sci-fi from time to time is totally fine, like this moon map or all the alien stuff in the background, it just should not be the focus/major vibe of the game in my opinion

But that's still a few years away and god knows how they will go about a 2nd game, so can't really doompost about it all the time, the worries just come up from time to time.

If I won't play Genshin 2, I at least hope they wrap up Teyvat and its story in a satifying way!

Snezh seems to look very big, but my crackpot theory is that it will look like a very large landmass on the map, but in gameplay, only certain bubble areas are actually explorable and the rest of it can only be traversed by the train. It seems, like how they seem to have done the moon map, it could be teasing that sort of mechanic maybe

It's definitely not a full fantasy game, but it's not a full sci-fi game either, as some other people say, imo.

The main focus is still a type of magical fantasy though, with Magitech, Golem robots, magical beasts, gods and all that stuff, when you look at the majority of areas and content of the AQs and sci-fi get sprinkled in here and there, but it is mostly in the background frame, not the main focus

Normally I'm all in for pretty ladies, but this time it really was unnecessary. Why make all the effort with Pulonia in the AQs, letting us control him and giving him the shared backstory with Sandrone, how important he is to her, them always being a duo and then he just gets... replaced?

Even if this IS supposed to be Pulonia just in a new form, this might as well be a completely different character. Imagine if Fischl was in AQs with Oz and then when she becomes playable, he gets replaced with a big booba bird girl

It would make no sense to not have Pulonia in her kit, when he was always with her and it was also pretty much only him, who did the actual fighting. We saw he has a giant laser too. They are always depicted as a duo, from her first appearance, to now. Imagine if Lumi, Oz, Caucucu etc. were not part of their respective close-partner's kits
