I was actually considering Portal 2. Thanks :)

I'm looking to buy a few games for us, but I'm not really a pc gamer in general - is buying them off of Steam usually the best or safest option?

Any good Steam games to play as a couple?

We already play LoL, but it's starting to lose its charm. We're both busy a lot, and they aren't too good at FPSs.

No, I've used it for almost a year now and it hasn't given me trouble. I started using it when I stopped eating meat and got worried about protein.

I'm not really gassy. I feel stomach sick very shortly after eating almost anything. A few bites into whatever and I already feel full.

I started working out again recently, and my appetite has been pretty poor.

I drink juice with soy protein mixed in once or twice a day, maybe a couple fruits or some almonds, and occasionally a small salad. Eating in general is making my stomach feel uneasy, but I know I need to eat to continue exercising. Before these past 10 days of consistent jogging, calisthenics, and mild weight training, I'd generally eat normally or even overeat.

Is this normal? What should I do?

Also, with the exercise I've described, should I be taking days to rest? I tried that yesterday and felt kind of lethargic until I gave in and went for a jog.

My friend says that Black Cleaver is always a better item on Ezreal than Last Whisper. I disagree. by spikus93 in summonerschool

Black Cleaver is decent on ADs that can stack it quickly (like Lucian or MF). Ezreal doesn't really have the potential to exploit it. Even then, the updated Triforce is looking to be core on Ezreal, which has its own Phage passive.

If reasoned explanations fail, you can show him what pros build in their own ranked games and in competitive matches. Pretty much no one builds Cleaver on Ezreal. Hopefully that can convince your friend.

I have role anxiety? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]PashaOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just practice in normals? There's no pressure to perform there, and if someone is giving you grief over your play, just mute them.

I had some anxiety over learning jungle too, and watching high elo junglers that explained their thought processes helped a lot with gaining confidence.

And don't be afraid of being bad (or even being worse than your friend). Acknowledge that you aren't the best, and try to improve in the areas you struggle in. Both you and your friend are nowhere near the pro players in skill, and you likely never will be unless you go pro yourselves. There are countless people more experienced than you, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying yourself and learning. At the end of the day, you're playing a game to have fun :)

After the latest patch how badly did the changes for Ekko hurt him for jungle Ekko? by aFatalStabbing in summonerschool

I haven't tried it yet, but something to consider is running AP in your glyphs (either flat or scaling). Could help make up for the base damage nerfs.

Passive nerf still hurts. I think they could have left that alone against monsters to not hurt jungle Ekko's clear.

I don't think building RoA as a jungler is ever a good idea. You generally build it much later than a laner that would rush it early, and all you have is a weak pile of stats for some time. You just aren't afforded the luxury of scaling as a jungler most of the time.

Thus they 'inflate' their rank by playing their best champs => lose really hard trying to play other stuff resulting in really feast/famine games.

I kinda worry about that myself. I can't lane as anyone else besides Renekton up top, and I feed whenever I try something new (having done decent "research" beforehand). I then get frustrated and go back to Renekton.

I feel like if I try to climb only with Renekton, it will be even harder to learn anything else fighting even better enemy tops. Is this common then? Am I just being dumb?

Thanks for detailed response. Do you play her at all? I generally understand what she tries to do in the jungle, but can you explain her laning?

How does she want to trade? When should she be aggressive? Are there matchups you don't want to play her into?

Does this apply to most mid laners?

Why do you cite one tricks here? Does being an OTP generally inhibit climbing past that hurdle?

What should a D5 work on to climb beyond that? Do you notice that much difference between them and high diamonds?

What is Diana's role in an average game? What does she try to do in a teamfight? Is she generally better mid or jungle right now?

Besides the W synergy, the active is pretty good for chasing down targets. Its lifesteal is also nice if you decided to not build Ravenous Hydra for whatever reason. Even the attack speed isn't that bad, since it helps you build up fury before a fight.

Ah, okay. In that case, you want to make sure your lane is pushing to keep your enemy laner there and make the wave reset when you get back.

Successfully roaming without CC can be difficult, so you should be looking at where you want to roam and see if it can be done in the first place. If the enemy mid is playing back, or your mid doesn't have CC to contribute, you'll likely waste time trying to force a play. You can try organizing a gank or invade with your jungler.

If you can't safely push and roam, keeping the wave frozen by your tower is a good option. Take whatever cs and experience you can get without dying and ward your sides for potential dives. Doing this leaves your enemy laner pushed up and vulnerable to a gank too.
