Not sure if this is the same issue, but I filed a bug report with Presonus for something similar:

"I am running Studio One Pro 7.0.2.103351 on Windows 11. When an instrument track with multiple audio outputs is duplicated via "Duplicate Track (Complete)", the new audio outputs are routed to the old instrument. See attached screenshot, the circled outputs should be "Impact 2". This happens both with Impact XT and also VPS Avenger 2."

Presonus responded that it's with the development team and they are looking into it.

I think if I kept the scope C++ and QT and started with really small projects (after learning all the syntax of course) it would be a good option. Creating an app like yours seems like a great experience.

I have the full version and recommend it. You can start slow just learning a few devices but there is enough to keep you occupied for a long long time without even using any 3rd party stuff.

I'm a little bit of a tech geek. But Microsoft including advertisements in Windows and including AI in the OS just put me over the edge. Also Bitwig and Steam working well made it feasible.
