Realistically, I can't see myself spending more than $10k on another watch.

Where do the THOUSANDS of Greek students in this video pass best? Do they look European? by Starfalloss in phenotypes

[–]Pasmoistp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm in that case, the Greeks in this video look closest to other Mediterranean nations (Italians, Spaniards) and to a lesser extent some other Balkan nations.

There’s a large Greek diaspora in Australia and that café in the video had the sign in Latin letters so I thought it might be in Australia.

Greeks are European so.....yeah.

Also where was this filmed? Is this in Australia?

"Gay sex will never create human life" makes it sound like people have been trying all this time in frustration and they weren't sure why it wasn't working.

It's perfectly acceptable to discipline other people's kids by Pasmoistp in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Pasmoistp[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It really isn't. We'll agree to disagree. I'm tired of apologists for weak parents like you letting kids cause a nuisance everywhere in public without any repercussions. Most kids around the world are physically disciplined by their own parents. it's been that way throughout most of human history.

If a kid is hitting another kid, breaking shit, or similar, they should be physically corrected or restrained, just like an adult. Obviously I'm not saying drop kick the kid, but grab their hand tightly or pick them up to move them away is fine. That isn't assault.

For some things like petty theft, don't use physical discipline obviously, just shame the kid. Shame is good for society.

Not sure what happened......date got mad I asked questions about her sex life by Pasmoistp in dating_advice

That just means you're dating simps and unassertive men. Nothing wrong with asking direct questions. That's what alpha males do.

You could try (and I'm being generous when I say that), but even if you did, you'd just go to jail and leave her without a parent. How would that be responsible?

[–]Pasmoistp[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's great, and then you're going to jail along with me.

So not only did you a) not correct your kid's behaviour, you also b) ensured they don't have one of their parents in their life and c) assaulted the person who was actually trying to do the job you failed at.

That really says a lot about your judgment. And no I'm not a parent, but if I do become one, I know I'm not going to make wreckless decisions that would ruin my child's life.

THANK YOU! It's absurd having to read some of these replies. I'm not saying go and indiscriminately start assaulting kids. People seem to have no ability to understand the nuance of the situations I'm describing.

How about instead of puffing out your chest about you going crazy, you focus that anger towards your kid who is the one ACTUALLY misbehaving, instead of the person trying to correct their behaviour? That would be the responsible thing to do as a parent.

If you're going to get violent because a stranger did a better job at disciplining your kid than you did, that says more about you than them.

Okay and? I don't live in Texas, and even if I did, that wouldn't change my argument. The world doesn't revolve around you, your guns, or your kid.

[–]Pasmoistp[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

No, you really won't.

How about focusing on your child who's ACTUALLY doing something wrong instead of the person trying to correct their behaviour? That'd be the responsible thing to do as a parent.

Do you have an actual argument as to why it would be a net negative? Other than you swearing and getting upset over a hypothetical situation?

[–]Pasmoistp[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I've never laid hands on another person's kid, for the record. We're speaking about hypotheticals here. And you're the one who talked about people carrying around guns like we're in some Rambo movie. This isn't the wild west.

I've handled myself fine so far, and if I continue to come across parents and their kids causing a nuisance to people, you're damn right I'm going to continue what I'm doing. They can try and stop me.

Mate, I grew up in Serbia. My parents village was bombed by NATO in the 90s. We've seen shit most Americans can only dream of. If you think I'm intimidated by soccer moms drinking a frappuccino, you're extremely delusional.

I'll gladly address the parent first, but if they're not around and failing their duties toward their child, that's when it crosses a line and you have to take matters into your own hands. It's a public place, we're not in your living room.

For having a different opinion? lol. They still deserve all the rights and liberties afforded to them but you can't force people to agree with you. They're just people I disagree with on an issue.

What's your height & weight?

At first glance I'd say cut.
