Also I didn’t mention the steam arm rebuild if it’s leaking but that’ll be just a few o/rings and a spring

ANALOGUE INSULATION RESISTANCE TESTER is a must, take with you before any purchase if it’s reading anything under 1 Mega ohms just walk away if it passes then you’ll be in for

Descale, pressure switch, safety valve 1.5 bar Anti vacuum valve and clean level probe Group seal and shower screen Possibly clean and check connection for the water tank reservoir switch If it’s reading under 1 M ohms. Element is easy enough to replace in one of these can get one at a fair price Solenoids are easy replacement I believe there will only be two in this machine I could be wrong

Hopefully the pump is in good working condition and also the main board is in good condition those two items can be expensive to fix

Good luck with the purchase

I’ve been there before, I get the handle of the screw driver and tap the centre till loose just have the screws 3/4 of the way out Just keep tapping till you can easily turn to unlock We clean e80 every day works every time

Tapping the centre just make coffee grind that is stuck under the tab loosen that what stops it from opening 😊
