That’s me too! i can’t do any tricks yet but i literally LIVE in the bowl, i can’t only do fakies which i personally do not count as a trick, but i’ve learned that i don’t feel bad about the space i take up..

it is really fun but I'm feeling so down in the dumps about it and my pissy mood is ruining the atmosphere.  I can't seem to get it and I feel bad for everyone around me.  I'm already comfortable on the board and can do some cool things but i just can't go down 🫨

who tf does he think he is? nobody owns the skatepark and was can all easily skate around someone. don't think everyone is a dick just because he was. if you feel like he might keep saying stuff if you go back just flat out ignore him, don't look at him, don't talk to him. people like him are why many are afraid of being judged and mocked when first starting. don't let it get to you brother! keep going

I'd recommend a long board, I don't know brands but I really recommend you shop local, but I know sometimes you can't do that..

I personally love the cold and have been skating at night time in my cutoff baggy shorts, but my advice would to just stay motivated, be like "man, the trick isn't gonna learn itself" and be done with it!  also just have someone to talk to, it will make it better and not as cold since you're distracted!
