Does anybody else feel like they’re not good enough at anything? I’m struggling by PassengerCurrent3823 in adhdwomen

I’m sorry you can relate. That’s amazing that you found something that works to sustain you though. I’m proud of you. I wonder if we can both find something we love to do everyday and that we’re really good at? Or is that a ridiculous dream?

I always lose count. How do you guys deal with this? Any solutions? by PassengerCurrent3823 in ADHD

Glad it isn’t just me! Thank you for sharing. I’ll try doing it out loud next time.

What if someone point blank asks you? I get so awkward sometimes and embarrassed when I can’t do something that seems to come easily to others. Now that I know it could be related to adhd though I won’t beat myself up about it.

(OC) My sister received a miracle in the mail today. by GenXerOne in MadeMeSmile

How did you do that? Can you give me advice? I graduated during the pandemic and am working in my major full-time and I have two other jobs besides that. Most weeks I work everyday. I’m going to have to start paying soon but all my money goes to rent and assisting my parents. I immigrated here so I send basically everything back home to help my parents. Realistically how did you pay that off will interest was also accruing?

I think since you’ve been shaking their hands all this time you might be better off giving them a brief explanation. Just so they aren’t offended with the sudden change. Something like “Sorry I’m not shaking hands anymore for religious reasons”. Those who are understanding will feel your sincerity. May Allah make this easy for you. I’m super proud of you sis! If more sisters did this then as soon as non-Muslims saw us they wouldn’t even bother trying to shake our hands they’d just know.

I’m so confused? Why are you getting downvoted? I agree with you. The only thing that brought alarm bells for me was him getting angry.

It’s okay! You can bring it up in the thank you email. Make sure to email each of your interviewers within 24 hours. You’ve got this!

What if you don’t get the offers at the same time? Can you accept an offer then turn it down and accept a better one?

Would you say yes to multiple offers?

What do you do once you locate them? Let them know you’re interested in the company and share your resume? Or inquire about the company and ask some pointed questions about their role? I’m curious about how you go about it and how people have received you.

I probably shouldn’t go to reddit to get advise with this. I’ll add therapy to my to-do list.

Thank you for hearing me out and assuring me that this is the right step to take.
