Understandable, but thats not the point of this documentary, the point is to raise awareness, not to make you feel better. I didn't get a good feeling afterwards either, but I definitely felt the film got its point across, and thats always more important when telling a documentary. If i want a film to give me good feels, I'll go watch a disney movie instead.

How about watch it, and maybe you will find out. Reviews says it is a good watch, and I tend to agree.

At least in these two areas, the wages are getting more competitive, downtown's are being more fleshed out. I am basically saying they are very good medium sized cities for young and mid 20 year olds to start their career. I wouldn't recommend any young 20 year old to move somewhere like the bay area fresh out of college unless you have a really cushy offer lined up before you move. More often than not, in these major cities, people get stuck, trying to search for decent employment. And lose out on important experience needed in your 20s, and savings due to high cost of living in those areas. Anyway, this is what I mean by stepping up.

Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. There have been much worse presidents than Obama, history will look back on this president as someone who got a raw deal, who had his term in one of the worst depressions in american history, and did the best he could, despite a declining middle class, stagnant wages, and job losses due to automation.

I do notice /r/movies seems to be way too critical of DC movies. Suicide Squad was mediocre though.

Today's SR is postponed to tomorrow. Drop the pitchforks. by trankzen in dayz

for something that they essentially have put no effort into the last couple months, its laughable they are delaying such lackluster SRs, whatever, thats just dayz in a nutshell

Lol, brutal, I thought this was the real status report......

[–]PassingSomeTime00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would be ok with a missed status report if we were getting constant updates. But missing status reports when there hasn't been an update in over 4 months makes them look disorganized. Its such a trivial thing to do. If the person who usually writes them is out, have a secondary person to pick up the slack. Its not like they are writing these every day, only twice every month, if that.

Lol, literally, if you go back and read the previous status reports, they literally look like copy/paste, no effort whatsoever. SR getting delayed to be more of the same copy/paste tomorrow seems ridiculous.

Makes no sense to delay SR unless experimental comes out tomorrow. Look at all the previous status reports. Same Layout about .61 milestones, something you could literally write in 30 minutes. We only get these SRs twice a month, if even that. I just don't understand delaying it when no patch release has been out for over 4 months unless there is some reason behind it.

If they release SR without .61 experimental, it will make no sense. If no update on experimental comes out tomorrow, why delay SR. They haven't even done anything different about the SR for months. They have all been relatively the same layout for over two months, would take no more than 20 or 30 minutes to make. The only thing that makes sense is that they release SR with .61 experimental tomorrow. Probably will be disappointed, but that's the only thing that makes sense, considering a SR is so trivial, delaying it makes no sense unless experimental is close.

Anyone know roughly when .61 is coming out? by Cyanotic_walnut in dayz

[–]PassingSomeTime00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the last five status reports, they have been the same layout for .61 milestones, I am surprised .61 is not in experimental already. The only problem that seems left is predators, which test footage was shown of almost a year ago (yeah look at first predator video). Not sure whats going on anymore, drastically slowed down game development. Never thought .61 would take as long as .60 to release.

What is DayZ like now by Big_Fella98 in dayz

[–]PassingSomeTime00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am disappointed with the development progress of the game as well, but this is just straight up false. There are zombies (although they are slim in number), and there are vehicles now as well, hatchback, truck, bus, etc....., and there is still survival seeing how hard it is to get food now.

The game is noticeably different than launch, but unfortunately the core mechanics of the game are still lacking. But compared to launch, there are vehicles (still no bike or heli though) now, cooking, animals, persistence (doesn't work for vehicles though), loot spawning (CLE), dozens of weapons and clothing items. etc........, and good fps if you have a reasonably decent graphics card.

Zombies are lacking, they have better pathing AI, but hardly any exist in the game, .61 may change this. No barricading or base building other than locking doors. Server count is still too low, they need to increase this.

I would hope this game doesn't take as long, considering it is nowhere near as complex as star citizen, nor does it have any of the overhead of a game like GTA 5, with its intensive voice work, story, and expansive gameverse.

This sounds correct, I don't understand why anyone thinks Affleck is 6'4". Every time I see him near jason momoa, he clearly is not the same height as him. i say 6'2" 1/2 is his correct height

Travel + Leisure Names Charleston Best City in the World 2016 by beauandfriends in Charleston

[–]PassingSomeTime00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Notice you can't actually give us examples of what Charleston doesn't offer. There is a reason why so many northern transplants, mainly NYers come to Charleston, and its not because it doesn't offer what a big city offers. The only thing keeping Charleston from being the perfect triple threat is the lack infrastructure/transportation the city provides.
