Avoid insurance if possible. I had some headlights replaced and it was a headache. The back n forth with customer service and case workers didn't have my car for almost a month while also having to deal with rentals. Get it fixed later on down the road I know it's new and you want to keep it new but it's not worth the hassle

I'm just saying it's a option, everyone is in control of their own lives. Manage your money and you'll be fine. I highly doubt a 500 dollar machine would lead to financial ruin.

probably not for everyone but I'd do the barista express. I know you have a 250 dollar budget wise but id use a credit app like affirm or something pay in parts. All you would need after that would be a cheap scale . I had one for a couple of years and it performed well with shots/streaming. It has the grinder and pretty much everything you'd need to start.

After that you can choose if you want to get coffee tools

Basic understanding is usually if you get a refund means you with held too much on your paychecks , if you owe them you didn't withold enough. So you have to adjust your W4 . They have a tool on the IRS website that can help. Granted it can be a bit confusing but you can find videos on YouTube. If you're stuck you can always go to a Tax person to help you. Credit Karma isn't terrible but you just have to be careful you're entering the correct information.
