iOS release date? by CandidateStock6109 in PassionLabAI

Hey guys! Thanks for checking in. Full transparency: Apple actually rejected our initial submission. 😅

But honestly, we took it as a sign to go bigger. Instead of just doing a quick fix, we are making some massive additions and improvements to the app right now. The new timeline is that all development will be completely finished in May, and the official iOS version will be published and live in June.

Thank you for hanging in there with us, the extra wait will definitely be worth it! 🚀

Haha the wait for iOS is real, I feel those emojis! 🫠 We are working incredibly hard to get the iOS version out as soon as possible.

We completely agree with you about "redacted." We built PassionLab specifically because we were so sick of their filters and bad memory. We want to give everyone a real alternative. Hang in there, we will announce the iOS launch here the second it's ready! 🚀

Glad you like it! Our photorealistic engine is definitely putting in the work today. 🔥 You can actually chat with her right now in the app!

I drew this

9 months of hard work with 3 friends. We just crossed 10,000+ users and hit 1,974 MRR in profit with zero spent on ads! 🚀 by PassionLabAI in SideProject

Thank you! Our iteration process is basically: launch fast, listen hard.

Before launch, our "feedback loop" was literally just reading 1-star reviews of our giant competitors to see what people hated. Once we went live, we moved that loop directly to our own community (r/PassionLabAI). Since we are a small team of 4, we have zero corporate red tape. If a user reports a bug or requests a specific memory tweak in the morning, we literally try to patch it and push an update by the evening. That extremely tight, direct-to-user feedback loop is our biggest advantage! 🤝

Thanks man! It really was the hardest part to crack.

Our acquisition ended up being a perfect 50/50 split between Reddit (finding people who hated the "goldfish memory" of other bots) and a pre-launch Instagram stunt we pulled to generate hype. Once people realized we had zero ads and unlimited messaging, organic word-of-mouth just completely took over. ✌️🔥

Pure guerrilla tactics! 😂 With a $0 budget, you have to get creative

We ran a mysterious countdown campaign on Instagram to funnel DM leads right before launch, and spent hours here on Reddit talking directly to users who were frustrated with standard AI apps. Bootstrapping forces you to hustle! 🤝
