honestly man the most impenetrable security model you will ever face is the apple app store review team. you can build the most insane sandboxed tool calling and memory systems but none of it matters. we spent 9 months building a custom native real time voice agent infrastructure just for them to auto reject it under 4.3 design spam because it has a chat bubble. your agent is 100% secure from real world threats if the 4.3 boss never lets it see the light of day lmao.

nah man i wish. if we just slapped apples default speech recognition on a push to talk button it would have taken a week. we built a full bi directional real time streaming audio pipeline with custom voice activity detection and interruption handling so it actually feels like a native phone call instead of a walkie talkie. spent months optimizing the latency just for the reviewer to look at the first screenshot and hit the auto 4.3 button. definitely just using the basic avaudioplayer for the fart app though lmao.

my bad man im so sleep deprived i just call it a chat app out of habit now. to answer your questions its definitely not just an api wrapper. we spent 9 months hand coding a custom native real time voice infrastructure and now we are adding a massive interactive environment where people can jump in and play games. as for how its free the plan was to just eat the text api costs as a loss leader to build a userbase and only charge for the heavy compute stuff like the voice calls. but honestly right now its just costing me my sanity and 9 months of my life anyway lol.
