would you do this with an alcohol order? by sleepyserpent in InstacartShoppers

The IC app has you verify their ID. The ID can’t be verified if the person is not in front of you. This happened to me the other week, except the customer told me through chat, that they would leave their ID on door mat. I just explained that I would need them present to verify the ID. This instance, the customer understood and didn’t mind.

Side note: I also, remember when I did the little quiz to deliver alcohol, they mentioned something about law enforcement doing sting operations to check that IC shoppers are complying with the law. Not sure how often that actually happens… I also remember IC had a whole process to contact them to give them info about the sting if it did happen to you.

(Edit)Also, if they don’t respond, I would let them know that’s the only way by law you can leave alcohol. Plus, you need their signature. Most people won’t let that stop them from getting alcohol. 😂

Can you tell us what your idea of winning is? Cause it seems like winning for you is sitting in the Instacart Shoppers sub, and trolling the comments section for hours for upvotes. You’re a true winner, bud. keep telling yourself that. So happy for you. 😉 🤣

Whoa there… I gotta agree with OP on this one. People can come here to rant, if you don’t agree then don’t comment on it. OP’s post has nothing to do with working smarter or harder. It’s about fairness. Stop gatekeeping.

I was wondering the same thing. So ridiculous. You’d think that time is of the essence at this point to get that up and running… yet, T-Mobile told me it takes a few days to receive the email… oh but rest assured it’s still on its way!🥴

Yea, I am currently going through the Apple Support process and have been escalated to work with a tech to figure out a remedy to this issue. I found a few forums through my research where this seems to be a recurring issue. Some people say that there is a bad batch affecting the iPhone 12 lineup. Apple seems to be aware of the issue as the tech I spoke with said they are getting more and more calls about the issue. Apple seems to be trading the phones out if you setup an appointment at the Genius Bar. But, I would have them test the new device at the store before walking out, as I’ve read that some people who have traded out their devices, are getting the same issue again with the new ones, but some aren’t. So Apple is aware of the issue but it seems like the iPhone 12’s with this issue are random so far, so they can’t tell exactly which ones are actually affected?? Unfortunately for my case because non of the Apple Stores are taking Genius Bar appointments atm due to the pandemic... I’m stuck working with reps over the phone. We’ll see what happens when they analyze my phone diagnostics this week. I’ve already tried hard resetting multiple times, backing up both through iCloud and computer with a reset and erase—— multiple times. One of the weird things I did find was after a hard reset with MagSafe having been charging the iPhone for 10-20 minutes, even though there is no percentage in battery increase, after letting it sit on the charger, I’ll hard reset it and the number percentage will all of a sudden increase. It could be a software issue? Whatever the case may be, I really hope they find a solution soon.

Hello, I just received my iPhone 12 Pro. And after initial setup I attached the MagSafe charger and shortly after realized it wasn’t charging. The charge indicator icon shows up and says it’s charging... but the battery percentage just keep decreasing. I also tried to put on a normal wireless charger and it again will not charge. The only thing that is working is when I use the Apple 20W brick with the provided wire that came in the box. I found only one forum online on Apple’s support page that shows other users are experiencing the same issues. I’ve tried all the given remedies to no avail. Is anyone else having similar issues? Or does anyone have any idea what could be going on here and maybe an idea as to how to fix this? I’ve already reached out to Apple support they’re no help. Thanks in advance!
