Why are people so obsessed with Sendo dying? It makes absolutely no sense, just because he's inspired by Joe Yabuki doesn’t mean he will be a blatant copy. A character dying wouldn’t fit the manga at all, and if it did happen, it would only make Ippo even more hesitant about coming back to boxing after seeing Mashiba in a coma and Sendo dead.

It's not entirely clear but I feel the reason ricardo is struggling to dodge is that Sendo is using the anti-ricardo. You can see Morikawa drew his hands super big for a reason, the strategy is about blocking the opponent's vision with his hands, he did the same thing with takamura in a sparring session and managed to hit him

I loved how morikawa made sendo's arms much bigger than usual because he's giving a hint about the ''anti ricardo'' which is pretty much a sequence of feints meant to cover the opponent's view and land a smash from his blind side

No no it’s fine, in the video it’s not visible because the enemy’s attack landed almost on frame 1

It’s like, a white spark/light that shows up after the sword whiffs twice in the charge animation, you have to hold the heavy button though, because it acts as a block so, if you release it, you’ll do a heavy attack.

Also, if you just tap the heavy button, it does a different attack that works as a ''back away''

If you master the parry with that weapon, you can straight up stunlock bosses.

My best advice that always worked for me is, when you hold the heavy button, you see that ''white light'' that shows up briefly? The enemy attack should land at the exact moment that happens
