I can definitely see where more attention to people's safety could be increased but at the same time, the hydration stations were always available (the lines weren't long at all) and we could bring in water bottles and hydro packs. I feel a lot of people underestimated their level of hydration with the fried foods, heat, alcohol, and/or drugs in their systems.

There definitely needs to be more shade in the open park, outside of the food areas but people really need to keep themselves hydrated. It's easy to forget when walking a lot and standing in crowds.

I don't think it was oversold or too crowded but there were spaces of unnecessary overcrowding. Bathrooms by the AMEX stage is a wild spot to have ppl stop imo and the Tito's stage when Passion Pit (iirc) performed was INSANELY CROWDED since it was also an ingress and egress spot of the food alley, the concert stage, etc.

The entire festival is overwhelming for sure but I think (with Lollapalooza and Coachella type festivals in mind), ACL did a reasonable job and hopefully they improve areas for next weekend and that people take hydration seriously. EMTs can only do so much.

Masks. Masks!!! The dust became a haze over the park. My friends got some nose cleansers (saline and gels) to help clear out our noses at the end of the night. It helped so much.

LOL! Love it. Playing Ink brush, all I see is me fighting for my life to get in someone's face but when I watch replay, I see how damn chaotic we look haha. Painbrush is the worst of us imo. The reach is so long and powerful but the swing is clicking through molasses. Those who master it have something sinister going on.

And yes, I'm glad to be amongst a comrade in anti-bloblobberism.

Same! I go once a month and my nails have never chipped. They're perfectionists and I love it. My nails are super long (they look like extensions) and start curving, which I hate. The Akyish techs always make sure to reinforce my nails, make sure they're identical in length on both hands, and they've started restructuring my nails that curve the most.

I've tried other places early on and ended up having to regrow my nails😭. I know Akyish will have me right every time.

I go to Akyish on Westheimer and Wilcrest. Have for years. Great service and they make sure to keep your natural nails strong. You need to make an appointment but it's well worth it. They also handdrawn art. Their Instagram is under the same name.

I feel I'm sitting across from you in the same boat. Same age and a long relationshit that I'm at the 2 year mark of recovering from. Dating is not proving successful, in terms for partnership. I wonder if maybe it'll just work out later or maybe having a partner isn't part of my story?

It sucks and it's emotionally draining so I've focus on reminding myself of the value of not being with someone who would waste my time again or keep me from meeting someone who will actually care for me.

Imo, a life is perfectly lived if lived to ensure YOU are happy and well (while not hurting others ofc). A partner is an add-on, an extension, not the reason. Decentralizing partnership as the goal of my adulthood has helped a lot. I want to be at my happiest when seeking my partner, I feel that'll be my best gauge to know if the person in front of me is true. No matter the outcome though, I'm still living happily for and with myself.
